Moving to Haiti !! Awaiting noa2!

So I posted about this before and I now decided to move from Germany to Haiti. Me and my fiancé are waiting for noa2. We called uscis and they said its not a problem to change the address to Haiti. I'm still a little bit overwhelmed with how to go about things now. Is there a difference in the process comparing Germany to haiti ? Are the costs differently ? For example concerning the medical ? What would you guys recommend me to do now in order to be preoared for noa2 ? Should I get vaccines here in Germany to be prepared for the medical in Haiti or can I just be relaxed about the medical and just go there when the time is there ? Should I take a German police certificate to Haiti with me ? What else do I have to think of ? Thank you for any advice guys

Yes take the police certifixate from Germany, you will need it.

Get the vaccinations in Germany too, if you can. Just make sure you get all your records and proof of any new ones you have. Check the consular specific guide for Haiti to make sure you have what you need before you leave. Getting something from a different country once you are no longer there can be difficult and time consuming. Oh, and expensive, too!

I agree ! So they would except my German shot records there ? Does anyone know which vaccines exactly I need so I could get them here in germany before I leave to Haiti ? I'm leaving In a week tho

No I havent just Germany. Thanks for the tipp though. Is the Haitian embassy going to accept my German police certificate since it's going to be in German ??

My dad is Haitian and lives there. So I could get a Haitian passport. But my dad told me there is no such thing in Haiti as residency anyways. .

Would I need all the required documents that I have to take to the interview in Haiti in English ? That would be the birth certificate and police certificate and that's it right ?

Sounds like you will be entering as a visitor, best to check they will interview you on that status.

Check with them if they require you to prove permanent residence in Haiti. If they do, see if you can get it in a timely manner, otherwise you may need to go back to Germany for the interview.

I don't imagine that will be an overnight process, even though it sounds like you would be entitled to one. I think you need to do your homework on the Haiti legislation before you make any moves. Your bid to help speed things up may end up delaying this process for you if you overlook anything. It may be worth spending a week (researching) to save you a few months (fixing things later).

It will be very hard. And the police report from Germany will have to be translated to English or the language of the country in this case french, or creole. Check with the embassy because I don't think you will be able to have your interview in Haiti. You original birth certificate will be the thing that give you the Haitian passport. were you born in Haiti. It sounds complicated. And also the doctor would give you the right vaccinations in Haiti. Make sure you have all your records translated from Germany.
