Thank you so much for the answer! all i need to do is wait for the RFE to arrive. I hope they will just ask for the docs we missed sending. So it doesnt mean we will get denied? i feel better now.:)

Will definitely follow the guidelines here so we got the right thing to do in filling for our fiance visa.:)

Ok we will wait. My fiance will be coming here next month for a visit. It would be best if he gathers all the evidence we need before he goes here. btw, i read that we need to declare how we met in person. We answered the form saying we were childhood friends. Do we need to do the single typed paged attachment? So we can also include it on the RFE? THANKS everyone for your help. It feels good to have someone who can help!:)

They will send an RFE so go ahead and get started on what was left out. when you get the letter it usually takes about 2-3 weeks for them to respond. Its suppose to be that long. No need to be sad just get the necessities together.

Dont worry they will send a rfe.

My fianve only sent the form I-129f and the check, nothing else, everybody said that we would be denied but they sent a rfe , my fiance sent all the forms and evidence required and we were approved, :)

i guess its going to be a long wait. :( i though it would be 8 months or less. :( thanks for the advice though! :)

Even getting an RFE., your wait might not be as long as others. You have two things working in your favor.

1. your petition was sent to the CSC service center which is processing them faster then TSC service center.

2. you are from the Philippines, they are still expediting petitions from there due to Typhoon Yolanda.

I really do not think ,you will be waiting close to a year. 8 months are less is a good realistic time. You can check others members timeline similarly to yours and get a fairly good estimate.

Yes many from the Philippines are still expedited . Our K-1 only took a little more than 5 months. They even gave the discount for the medical at St. Luke's . Good Luck on your journey .

LOL... A Discount? No Medical is required for a 129-F Petition but Valid/Updated and current before the Interview (After NOA2). The Medical is a Fixed Price and the Vaccinations only meet what is required for entry into the US.

This is what I think and may help you complete your Petition as you state were not sure what to expect:

First thing to watch for is they cash the Petitioners Check. (One Member stated: It went to CSC but No, it went to Dallas TX) From that you can better determine if it will get sent CSC and expect RFE's from there.

Be prepared for what you read in the guides for this time properly submitting Documents.

The BIG 2 RFE's are: Previous Marriages and Criminal History. Read the Guides here on what USCIS will want from you.

Proper In Ink Signatures are another big one. (325-A - Letter of Intent)

Definitely read the guides this time well. Discuss with your Fiance everything.

If you see that your Check was Cashed then you can feel assured it will go to CSC for processing and await the RFE's.

Respond to these quickly.

Good Luck! Tim/Mav
