hello guys!

we're almost ready to submit our roc documents. finally got our 2013 tax trancripts (recently submitted) from irs and that's the most important document we were waiting for this process. anyhoo, just want to ask if our evidences and documents are sufficient enough..

here it goes,

1.cover letter (includes the the list of evidences plus a little explanation about our living situation here in the US, (my husband and his family owns the property and we are caretaking it that's why my name is not listed in deed just my hubby and his siblings and his mom)

2. filled out I-751 form

3. colored copy of my green card. (back and forth)

4. check payable to DHS worth $590

5. 2012 and 2013 joint tax transcripts from irs website

6. copies my w2s from last year (worked part time during summer. my husband doesn't have w2s since he is self employed)

7. copies of our health insurance letter and card

8. car insurance with both our names listed

9. joint US bank account and the whole monthly statements since we opened the account (from march 2014 up to january (2015)

10. copy of chase credit card account and cards (with my name on it) plus 2 years worth of purchase statements)

11. copy of house and land title that we own back in my country. (both our names are in it.)

12. copy of his driver's license

13. copy of my driver's license back in my country (I'm greencard holder. i don't have my driver's license here in the US yet.)

14. copies of airline tickets from our vacation back in my country and also here in the states when we went to DC. plus copies of our passport and it's stamps.

16. 2 years worth of photos that we posted on Facebook so it has dates and comments. (44 pages worth of photos) yup we like to take pictures! :)

17. notarized affidavits from my husband's mom and brother stating that our marriage is legit.

-- do you guys think these things are enough? my GC will expire in 2nd week of march and we're planning on submitting it either next week or the week after next week. we're still waiting for the affidavits from his mom and bro.

-- do you think I should submit my w2s (i just worked part time. for about 3 months)

-- should i submit the copy of my driver's license eventho its from my home country with our address there in it?

thank you so much in advance! we would really appreciate your advices and inputs! :)

hi guys!

i guess my corrections were deleted so I'm just gonna correct some items and add a few questions.

-- regarding the form i-751 it is FILED JOINTLY. forgot to mention it on my previous post.

-- regarding my green card it's photocopied BACK AND FRONT. not forth. :)

and additional question..

-- im currently 9mos pregnant and my due date is two weeks from now, or earlier so do you guys think that I should submit some copy of our baby's sonogram pictures, my doctors appointment documents, work sheet for the baby's birth certificate etc?

thank you again and if anyone can help me with some advice and comments that would be awesome!

thank you thank you thank you! :)

Your foreign driver's license is not relevant, I would remove it. I would only include a copy of your spouse's license it is was counter balanced with some evidence of you residing at that same address.

You don't need W-2s if you provided tax transcripts, unless you are using the address to show joint residence - in which case I would state this and the other piece of evidence you are using to show your husband's address being the same.

As to pregnancy, I can only state what we did, which was to include the ultrasound photo. I'm not sure if it is sufficient, but ours was backed up with a lot of infertility paperwork from doctors with both of our names, which I am sure probably holds more weight. So, I'd say ultrasound plus doctor's office paperwork.

Did you fill out this birth certificate paperwork yourself or is it something generated by the doctor or registrar? You just filling in a form isn't strong at all. You'd be better off submitting a birth certificate if you get RFEd.

Consider crafting wills, medical powers of attorney, and similar documents. These make excellent evidence for ROC, and they're even more crucial to have in "life."

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

hello tbonetx and n-o-l-a!

thank you very much for replying guys! really appreciate it!

with my w2s, yeah im kinda submitting that to show my physical residence and at the same time, establishing that i worked last year because the year prior to that I didn't work. what I don't want to happen is if I submit my w2s they will ask for our 2014 tax trancripts and we haven't done that yet. we only have 2012 and 2013. what do you guys think?

with my pregnancy documents, yeah the birth cert work sheet is just a copy that we filled out to be submitted in the hospital. I printed some Facebook posts of the ultrasound of our baby when I posted it then. so my pictures basically tells a story from our first year wedding anniversary up to January of this year so it covers my pregnancy etc and sonograms pics. I just hope they will look at it :)

we're also thinking of submitting the property deed of our residence here in the US to show that it is owned by my husband and his siblings and mom. my name is not there but we will briefly explain the situation on the cover letter that we are caretaking the house. or should I just leave it alone and not submit it?

all in all guys,, do you think my evidences are enough? (my original posts) will those suffice for strong evidences?

again thanks and have a great day!
