Updating new passport details to NVC

Hi everyone,

How do I update my new passport details to NVC.

I have already received a case completion email from NVC and am awaiting an interview at this stage. My passport just expired and I have been issued a new one.

Do I simply write a letter along with a photocopy of my new passport to NVC or take my new passport to an interview along with the old one.

I really appreciate your assistance in the subject matter.

Since your case is completed NVC wont do anything. I am not sure but here is an advice. Once you receive your interview letter contact local US embassy and let them know because now case will be with them. Send them scan of your old and new passport explaning why are you writing including your interview letter. They will sure update the information. Bring your old passport to interview

Just bring your old and new passport to the interview. No issues there. Good luck!

I might simply call embassy once I received an interview letter.
