Wrote embassy 3 times in one night.I got 2 generic relies. ... And then one saying the interview for fiance is sep 16... Tomorrow!!! OMG!! I'm in Cairo now with him .people please wish us luck. Thanks all

We had the interview but we are still waiting to get out of Administrative Processing. I see case updates but I cant get any answers to what they are doing and when we will even hear anything.

I'm a newcomer in this thread; Our case complete is 10/5/15 and I expect we'll be waiting months like everyone else to get an interview. AP seems to be equally long and dreadful.

Don't wanna break your heart but Egypt is kinda tough, give your self roughly 2-3 months b4 you get an interview, that is on average.

Of course on the brighter side lady luck could be on your side and you get an interview pretty soon In sha ALLAH...I pray for you.

Inshallah, but I'm going to Egypt next month, Inshallah to be with my husband for 2 weeks. Haven't seen him in two years so very excited to be with him again. Will give us new-found encouragement for the last leg of our journey, alhamdulilah.

i will submit packet 3 this week, i plan on waiting not less than 3 months unfortunately

so as i can see you sent packet 3 August 9th so by next month God willing u should hear something

Does anyone know how long the AP process last. I was told that the AP process is basically for Security Background Checks. It has been almost a month since we've been on AP.

I checked with my Congressman's office and they said since 9/11 everyone has to be put through this AP

This is really testing our patience and it is making him and I depressed due to the length of time we've been apart.

sooo some good news.. my friend who sent in packet 3 in may had his fiance's interview 9/16/15 and her visa issued after AP due to missing paperwork 10/12/15... there is some hope for cairo..
