I calculated that it takes between 80 to 100 days from case complete to interview date but I think they are going super slow. Omg!!!!

We are still waiting too. I think its 75 to 80 days from CC to get an interview. Its very frustrating and my patience is running thin..

How do you know what the cc date is? Also ...who do I call to see where there at as far as the interviews ?

If you see that the PAID status under your fees in CEAC goes to N/A you can call the NVC to confirm the cc date. If not, the NVC will email telling you when it's complete. You can call the NVC or try emailing the embassy about interviews.

Hi All, Finally we got a date on August 5th. I hope this is enough time to get medical done. Any recommendations on where to get the medical exam scheduled and get results fast?

Congratulations drhamdo! I'm a little confused though, the embassy is telling me that they are currently scheduling interviews for individuals who submitted their documents in early April. I submitted mine around April 20th and have not been given an interview date but it seems that you submitted yours at the very end of April. Are CR-1 visas scheduled differently than K-1? I have been trying desperately to ask them for a better idea of when my fiancé will be called so we can plan our wedding (which has already been postponed) and they give me a generic response every time.

Thanks, I called the NVC and they informed me of the interview date over the phone. I wish you the best and hopefully you get one in August too!! good Luck..

Hey all,

I have had an incredibly emotional day today and desperately need some good advice. After waiting 15 months of processing my fiance was finally contacted today by the embassy and told that her interview is scheduled for August 9th (!!!). However, in the time that we have been waiting her mother has become very ill and is relying heavily on her support right now. I am terrified if we ask to postpone we will lose everything that we have worked for but it is clear that it is impossible for my fiance to leave her family right now. The timeframe for when she would be able to leave is unclear but I dont think it would be more than a few months. Can anyone give any advice? I dont even know who I would contact to ask to postpone. Thanks everyone, this forum has been a tremendous source of comfort and information during this process.
