Thanks everybody, I hope you all get approved too. The fiance is here

First I went to the clerk or admin to put my paperwork in order and she took my medical. I did two medical exams on was on 2 April and the second after I got packet 4 on 27 of April. She said why do I have two medical it's valid for 6 months! I was well it's recommended on the embassy website to have it done 2 or 3 weeks before the interview! not my fault lol she smiled she was cool lady. She asked me do I have any newer photos I said yes. She looked at the back of the photos and told me when did you take them I said the same date on the back,, she looked back at me like that's weird lol. She told me to open the two medical exams envelopes and give her what's inside, she didn't take the CD or the vaccination record. Finally she gave me a form or a brochure about the Domestic violence and spousal abuse she said read it to know your rights in case she tried to beat you up or something hahaa whaaaat!!! I wish a **** would lol

I waited about one hour then they called my number. The interview was so stressful and long it was about half hour. The CO was a Jerk and asked about everything from A to Z but he didn't ask for any more evidence, pics, receipts, plans or any updates which made me pissed off a bit cuz I spent a lot of time preparing for it Grrr. He wasn't friendly at all like all those CO's I hear about them in the reviews being nice! He asked about all the dates and other details that I never thought he'd ask about like her boss at work and coworkers!!.He kept saying that he needs specifics so I tell him. He asked about our mutual friends, their age and how long has she known them!!! (WTTF), our differences like age, religion, political views. He didn't ask much about me or our family, most of it was about her. The last question was about my plans then I answered then he told me to hold on one second (turned out to be 5 mins) and turned off the speaker. He went to his boss they were talkin about my case. I couldn't hear anything but I can tell they were disagreeing about my case and he looked confused. His boss came to his computer and read what he everything he's been writing since the interview began, checked something on my case folder ( I think it was the medical ) then he told him something and left, I was like oh SSHIT ok give me a denial I'm tired of this!. The CO wrote something on the computer then he gave me a white form and said good luck ( and kept my passport ). The first word I read quick on that form is congratulations I asked him fast when I'm gonna get the visa he said the details you need to know in that form.

That was it. I think since my case is that confusing, they gonna put me under AP. I hope NOT(

My Case status in the NVC says Administrative processing...I don't wanna think about that cuz it could be short or long I'm just hoping(

Here's the first paragraph of the form it's says

Congratulations! Your immigrant visa has been approved by the consular officer and it should be processed within two weeks of your interview date. However, keep in mind that the process may take longer. Please do not make any travel arrangements or plansuntil you actually pick up your visas from the ARAMEX office you selected in your online profile. If you have not been contacted within 2 weeks of the interview date to pick up your visa, please call the phone number listed on the following website for more information http://www.ustraveldocs.com/eg

Wow! The Congrats letter sounds very promising! Masha allah! Was your fiance allowed inside the consulate? The website says citizens must remain outside due to lack of space but I don't know if that means outside the building or outside the actual interview room. I am trying to know if it is beneficial for the citizen to attend the interview if they are not allowed in. Also, i am unclear about the part of your review that speaks about the questions the CO asked you. He did or did not ask about age, cultural, and religious differences? If so, can you tell us what he asked specifically? I am worried about those questions. Thanks! And congratulations again! I am very excited for both of you!!

Thanks KokiLulu,

The fiance's here again ). I went to the embassy alone as they don't let anyone in without a passport and the confirmation page of the application. They ask families who are not gonna be interviewed to wait outside the building. I also read somewhere online long time ago that K1 visa interview should be done to the beneficiary only unlike the spousal visa, it's recommended for both to be there.

The CO was so unlovely and so serious. After he asked me to state my name and my fiancee's name and made me swear an oath, he started from the get-go the very beginning of how and when and where did we meet. HE asked about almost everything and ask about details of some weird random stuff like the age of her friends!.Every answer I say he always asks for details so I think if I don't know the details he'd think my answer is fabricated or studied or something. The deeper he gets into any question the deeper I go with him and tell him more. Then when he's done he'll move to the next stop and so on. He touched almost all of our red flags but I was prepared and my fiance and I talked about them many times before. Questions about religion for example started like what do you guys talk about!, what's her religion? Are you OK with that ? explain your view how are you gonna make it?...etc. It was a long interview for about 30 mins and so many questions and subject we got into.

Just don't give him a chance to get you. I don't think you guys have more red flags than we do you should be fine. Good luck to you all
