So the embassy replied to my email with the content of the letter. It's dated 4/27. So, I guess we weren't supposed to know since lat week! Haha. I also found that they sent our packet 4 to the friend who helped put our packet 4 together and sent it from Cairo since fiance and I don't live in Egypt. It was just strange how they did that despite having requested to have that emailed instead! But since when does this embassy do their work efficiently let alone giving favors!

Hello Everyone,

Any updates on anybody's case? I'm still under Ap since 3/29 and nothing has been changed. Hope you all better luck!

Nothing for us as of yet (fiance has interview Sunday - FINGERS CROSSED).

It'll come for you soon.... Good vibes being sent your way. :)

10/08/2015: AOS packet sent to USCIS (Chicago lockbox) via USPS Priority mail (They received it 10/10/15).

10/16/2015: Text/eEmails received from USCIS with receipt number. We received 3.

10/22/2015: Received hard copies of NOA's for I-131, I-765, & I-485.

11/01/2015: Got NOA for biometrics appt (for 11/12/15).

11/03/2015: Did WALK IN biometrics appt - took 15 mins. Person taking said work permit should be in mail in less than 4 wks.

12/09/2015: Got email/text notification for INTERVIEW date.

12/28/2015: Got email/text notification EAD card has been mailed.

12/31/2015: Received EAD/AP card.

01/11/2016: INTERVIEW (in Los Angeles office).

01/11/2016: Case in in "CONTINUANCE". Awaiting approval. (Feels like AP).

06/27/2016: I-485 APPROVED - (FINALLY!!!) / 264 DAYS (8 MONTHS 20 DAYS)

07/01/2016: GREEN CARD RECEIVED

10/15/2014 – Priority date assigned
10/19/2014 – Acceptance confirmation email received
10/20/2014 – Check cashed
10/24/2014 – Received I-797C (NOA1)
10/27/2014 – Faxed the USCIS expedite packet to the Senator's office
10/29/2014 – Expedite request sent to USCIS from the Senator's office on my behalf
11/05/2014 – USCIS approved I-130 petition
11/07/2014 – USCIS sent case to the NVC for processing
11/08/2014 – Received I-797, Approval!!! (NOA2)

11/11/2014 - Emailed the NVC Expedite Packet to the Senator's office
11/12/2014 - Expedite request sent to NVC from the Senator's office on my behalf

Thank you, it's no bother. :) We did have an expedite ar USCIS, but that did not carry over to NVC. It took 76 days from CC to getting an interview date.

Congrats to those with interview dates in sight. We haven't gotten ours but our CC date was early March. Hopefully soon! Fingers crossed...and toes and eyes!! So tired of this process.
