I have a cream/peach colored tabby - her name is Coco. Got her from the shelter about a month ago. Her personality is totally different from all my other cats (but they were male so I know that counts for a lot). She's very talkative and demanding - if she wants to be petted, or to play, she will yowl and yell and holler until someone gives her what she wants. Very sweet and understands NO and other basic commands (for instance, when I snap my fingers she knows to move, if I say stop she stops). I need to take a pic of her to post here.

Ziggy and Elmo ~ Jet black, brothers, they are the ones I brought over from the UK.

Lyrus ~ Mackerel Tabby,with a HUGE head.

Sassy ~ Long haired, grey, white, probably part Maine #######, and has 24 claws...

And finally Chunky ~ Large ginger and white cat.

My cat died of feline leukemia a few years back. The only reason we got Coco was because of my husband. I was so attached to my cat and afraid to get another pet and go through what I did with my other one

That guy on the left is a mirror image of my kitty (Flint).

I've always had cats as pets. I had a Siamese named Charlie (after Charlie Brown) that was about 20lbs when I was younger. He lived to be over 20 years old. After him we adopted a little white guy (Perrin) with 6 toes on his front paws and he grew to be a monster - about 22lbs and not fat - just big and dense. He developed pancreatitis at about 8 years old and it took about $2500 over 2 surgeries and hospital stays but he beat it. Unfortunately he also got feline diabetes and despite prescription food and daily insulin he passed about a year later. He was only 10. We also adopted 2 kittens (Flint and Guinness) so we had 3 at one point. Unfortunately, little Guinness also got feline diabetes and passed on about 2 years ago. The odd thing is my first cat was indoor/outdoor and he ate cheap food as well as whatever he found outside. He got in a few scraps as well. He lived to be over 20. My last 3 cats are all indoors and 2 of them died right around 10 years old - all eating nothing but Science Diet food too. All I have left now is Mr. Flint but he's a great kitty.
