Why did Obama compare Crusades to Islamic State at prayer breakfast?

That is the only logical explanation, but since several in here agree with him then that makes them ??? Also ?

And this is how things go consistently sideways here in the CEHST-pool. Agreeing that the statement is basically true and agreeing that a prayer breakfast was the time and place to bring it up are not the same thing. Attempting to conflate the two to make a left handed put down is too often the case here.

Do you know the real story behind that pic? Probably not.

I believe it was a pre-dance prom photo before her date arrived. She wanted a different dress and shoes, but dad would have nothing of it. He gave her a hug anyway, and all was well.

The obvious point to ask is what the difference is between Christians in 1692 and the present day.

Back then Christianity was a political movement much as Islam is in IS today.

Yeap. They are just behind some years, but it is no different than what Christians did in the name of God.
