Hi everyone,

A little background...my husband was born in Ecuador (Ecuadorian citizen still) but has been living in Rome, Italy for the past 10 years.

Looking at the consulate info on VJ, the time from US Consulate in Ecuador receiving packet from NVC to interview is only 26 days as opposed to 70 in Italy. And he doesn't have to take a two day trip to Naples. I'm thinking...if my husband moves to Guayaquil he will get to come to the US faster. (He has a house and family there so it shouldn't be a problem)

However, I've already submitted the I129 and I130. What do you advise? Is it just a matter of doing a change of address or will it be more complicated? It may be more trouble than it's worth.

Has anyone had a situation like this??

Thanks all!

08-16-2007: Husband arrives in Chicago

10-13-2007: AOS package sent

10-24-2007: Received NOA1 for AOS, EAD, and AP
