I have read in several posts that when you go to the AOS interview, you are asked to bring with you an updated copy of the Affidavit of support.

I am pretty sure that our interview will NOT be anytime before April. So basically My sponsor (my wife) and my joint-sponsor would have filed their taxes for 2006. Now, would i need to take an updated copy of the Affidavit of Support from my joint-sponsor as well?? or just an updated affidavit of support from my sponsor?? my wife's income in 2006 (main sponsor) is still not gonna be enough so we would still be using our joint-sponsor.

I'd wait until you get your interview letter and see what it asks you to bring. If you have a joint sponsor and they ask you for an updated Affadavit of support I'd assume they would want it for both the sponsor and joint sponsor (especially since the joint sponsors income is what is showing the support) but I'd wait to see if they actually ask for it.

I dunno, we haven't had an interview and hopefully won't going through CSC. Have you searched through the old threads to see what people prepared to bring to their interview?

Doesn't look like you need an updated I-864, but I would certainly bring the original copy along with the original supporting documentation for the sponsor and cosponsor. I think an updated one would really only be needed if something major changed in the financial status of the sponsors (like lost a job, etc) or maybe even if there had been a very large length of time since you sent in the original (but I'm not sure about that, probably won't even be the case for you).

I have looked through previous threads and a lot of people stated that their interview letter asked them to bring an updated affidavit of support. now i am thinking of an updated affidavit of support just for the simple fact that when i sent in my application, it was during the 2005 tax year and my interview will be in the 2006 tax year, so i just wondered if that would require an updated version of the affidavit.
