Hello, hello! Well, got curious and had to see if there are any old timers (like me) who still hang out here :) It's been awhile since I visited VJ... I kind of missed it. Most of the members here that I befriended are on Facebook, so, that's how we get in touch nowadays.

04/07/2011 - NOA

04/07/2011 - Check cashed

04/14/2011 - Biometrics appointment in the mail

04/21/2011 - Early Biometrics (was scheduled on May 4, 2011)

05/09/2011 - Case Status Notification - In line for interview and testing

05/10/2011 - Case Status Notification - Interview scheduled

05/14/2011 - Interview Appointment Letter in the mail

06/21/2011 - Interview Appointment Date

06/29/2011 - Case Status Notification - Placed in the oath scheduling que

08/16/2011 - Case Status Notification - Oath ceremony scheduled

09/15/2011 - Oath Taking - good riddance!

09/23/2011 - Applied for Passport

10/08/2011 - Passport in the mail

10/17/2011 - Certificate of Naturalization in the mail -- OFFICIALLY DONE!

Small world! I'm Arlene from Bolivar. I know you thru andrea's Facebook page. I met her and Dan at Seoul Market back in 2012. Lol. I love this website a lot. It was a huge helped for me back in '08.

10-16-14--------- NOA1 in the mail dated 10-09-14 for my dad

We're just a few months ahead of you guys. MJ arrived US April 2007. Been married coming up 9 years now. As you noted, don't see many of us old timers here, but we still drop in to have a look around from time to time.

Been a blast. So hard to believe so much has happened. We're just now starting naturalization process, no big rush, just waited for a break now with busy 3 and 6 year olds. MJ's elementary school sisters I met during my first trip in 2006 will be graduating college in a couple of years. Crazy....

Hi Michael, I kind of remember you guys! :) Glad to hear life's been good for you and MJ (and kiddos) -- hectic, but good.

A lot has changed here since we were doing our own journey. I am always thankful for this site and refers it to those who need help with their immigration.
