So, we called CIS last night to see about our RFE.......She blatantly lied to me to get me to stop asking questions.

I can clearly see that they are processing and approving cases that were filed in October, (we filed in early September).

The lady kept telling me that they are just now processing cases filed in May 2014.....LIE, LIE, LIE.

If they are only filing case from May, then why did we receive an RFE since we filed in September...???

It makes a difference who you talk to, yes?

The first person that answers the phone is a CSR, and can only see what you can see in CRIS .

The next person , a Tier 2 Human, is an ISO, and can see more stuff in the computer.

Since you are chasing an RFE, you should focus on the RFE and not what any CSR tells you about processing times - mostly they make stuff up to get you off the phone, quickly.

Historically, we've been calling it 'the misinformation line', as the CSRs there are useless.

Want pointed info about yer casefile? Ask to speak to an ISO, each and every time.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

But, she is however, on track for deportation as a "LEGAL" immigrant.

Wait a mo,

as the NOA-1 on the ROC contained wording about 'extension' for a years period of time. If you've not seen it, go back, pull it out of yer file, and read it again. She'll have to carry that NOA-1 [rather, a copy of it] with her greencard.

If you want something more tangible, get into a local office, ask for I-551 stamp in the passport, showing the NOA-1 on the ROC to the useless clerk across the window.

This does Not cut it as proof of good faith marriage for ROC.

1) Drivers license with same address

2) Joint tax returns

3) utility bills in both names - show 18 months of this

4) Deed of joint tenancy on house

5) Property taxes in both names - 2 or more years of receipts/invoices

6) Joint checking and savings accounts - 15 to 20 months of monthly statements

7) Credit cards in both our names - show statements from cc company, showing both names, 18 to 20 months

8) Joint Health insurance account

9) Joint homeowners insurance

10) Joint Car insurance

11) Car loan in both names

12) Both cars registered in both our names.

Huh? comments inline above. ROC is about financial co-mingling - your list is great, but unless you show monthly on the things that are issued monthly, they get fidgety back at the adjudication desk.

The only thing I can say is they want information from the entire period of your marriage. So they want info since 2012.

Sorry to hear you have been waiting.

Im a May filer and still not approved. I got an RFE and an interview and i sent a truck load of evidence.

Its just the way it is sometimes. Honestly, if your wife has an extension letter to go with her green card, whats the rush? You are happy and together so that is all that matters.

OP, if you have all the information submitted you say you do, and having problems, then me and my Filipino wife have serious problems also.

We have the exact same evidence. Except we rent a house, and she had no credit rating, so her name is not on our house rent lease.

Have they really threatened to deport your wife?

Did you have an interview face to face with USCIS? And you showed this evidence.,.,.,I am some what shocked and scared, as my wife and I will file on October 1 of this year for ROC, as that is when her 2 year GC will have 90 days left until expiring.

I wish you the best, and hope things get straightened out for you, something bad wrong here.,.,.,.,.never trust US govt.!

Do you think she meant they were working on RFEs from May, as opposed to non-RFE applications?

Either way, you have the extension letter and if a year passes (minutes 90 days) your wife can apply for citizenship which will FORCE them to adjudicate your case, RFE or not.

Also, I don't see them giving you any information if you've only sent the RFE evidence in 3 weeks ago.

My wife did not have a credit rating either, but now with our credit cards, car loan, and banking accounts her credit is better than mine.....

I have not had an interview, but I did make an info pass appointment and they told us that our evidence package looked good. At the info pass appointment they are suppose to suggest additional info to send, but they could not tell us what else to send for the RFE.

Because we received an RFE only with no interview scheduled.

I was married under the authority and witness of my maker, God, whom knows my marriage is true and devoted, without misrepresentation.

Under God's authority no man should have any right to judge me in any other way.

You 1 man who thinks you have the right to destroy the santuary of marriage will answer to your maker for destroying something that He created and witnessed.

Yes, you are right, I am intertwining state and religion, because under government rule they leave you no choice.

they aren't technically lying. They just read off the screen in front of them. They don't have VJ stats in front of them and they can't comment on other cases anyway. If you look at the USCIS processing times, it says is small print AS OF "date" its usually 2 months or so before the processing date they are stating. I used to add 2 months to the date they "claim" they are working on. That was a bit more realistic. Even still, you can't really make a prediction. They process however they want. They pick up whatever box is closest. Don't take it personally.
