Just sayin, the OP is in the adjustment of status phase (AOS). The petition has nothing to do with K1 or CR1 petition processing times. And I think the OP is expressing what many of us are feeling especially those of us who have already seen the effects of DACA once, is how frustrating it is to have everything take SOOOOO long when we are trying to do things legally when people who are going to apply for DACA and DAPA came here illegally and those applications are completely clogging up the pipeline for the rest of us. Additionally, the OP clearly stated that they have waited within the NORMAL processing times for an application of this nature (not at all expedited). Although I know the expedites for the Philippines can be frustrating, that really has nothing to do with this particular post.

The OP is removing conditions on a green card. They are not adjusting their status.

Also there are TWO service centers for ROC. California is fairly quick with a few months. Vermont is quite a bit behind at the moment at over 6 months. Where is your file located OP? Also never bother speaking to a tier 1. And often you have to speak to several tier 2 to get a general concensus answer.

Right!!!! Sorry!! My point is still the same though, that this is not something that was expedited so there is no need for anyone to get upset because the wife is from the Philippines.

When did you send your RFE back to them ?

Please look at my sad timeline. Waiting, waiting ... We were thinking to file for my citizenship in April. But all this process is so nerve wracking. I doubt we'll do it any time soon again. Unless there will be no choice ( if ROC will be stuck for ever).

Edited by Taureti

ROC VSC mailed 5/7/14

NOA1 5/9

Check cashed 5/14

Biometrics current

RFE dated 12/18

RFE mailed 1/20

Approved 2/2 ! ( letter came from the local office)

Card received 2/17/15 !!!!

Oh yes, I see you are at the Vermont Service Center.....We are at California in which all applications before us and many after us have already been approved.

The lady told us that Cali is processing May now and that is just not so........LIE

But we are on track for "denial and deportation", so that is what I am about to fight our government about.

Good luck to you Taureti

That is for Vermont not for California

California is adjudicating October

So.....I think you should chill out.

Same thing happening with VSC. They forgot about May filers. They are processing July, and even August is touched already. Meanwhile May is choking on the dust. There is no logical explanation why they do it this way. But I really believe your wife will not be denied. It's just taking longer than normal for you to get approval or interview.

I wish you the best (F)

Not according to the RFE.......It states that if they do not accept the RFE then it will result in denial of application.

No mention of any interview.

I really don't understand why are you so pessimistic.

We also just mailed RFE package. And I see they got it. I never knew they can deny people without interview.

I know it can take long time to get the respond after mailing RFE back to them.

Just check other people timelines in the monthly threads. You'll have a clue how long people are waiting after submitting RFE. And you'll notice nobody got denial, but some got interview.
