Now I think about it there was a similar thread I think about a year ago.

Do you have a link to the conference?

Wasn't that thought to be a scam?

I can not remember the details, I seem to recollect that it was a group attendance?

I can not remember the details, I seem to recollect that it was a group attendance?

Yes, group attendance with a very short period of time for the attendees to obtain their tourist visas. There were some other specifics that didn't seem right as well.
