So how is everybody doing?!

This question my strike some people as silly for it is a little bit paranoid and it might stem from the unnerving waiting we all have to go through in our immigration journeys, my case was received on Dec 11, I filed I-130 and I-485 simultaneously already received NOA, and did biometrics, my I-485 case change to "Ready to be schedule for an interview" a couple days ago the other applications (I-130, I-765) remain in the "Case was received" status.

Now the question is this, I got to this country on an F-1 visa over 2 years ago to attend college, my wife is a student from that college as well naturally we met while I was a student a that's how our relationship started the rest is history as they said.

We come from very strong christian backgrounds and our wedding was performed before a Pastor, it was a private family Christian ceremony. Due to our background and I do not want to offend anyone with this comment I respect your particular beliefs we're not here to discuss politics or religion just immigration matters, we did not want to "play around" if you will before getting married, or to move in together either, so our courtship was rather short at least in comparison to a lot of couples, its length was half a year.

Our families supported our decision and both attended our wedding and have been tremendously supportive in every aspect, so much that my father in law a US citizen is serving as my sole joint sponsor.

We've been married for 9 months now.

Now my question is will this cause us any trouble at all during our process? I mean I submitted in my view strong evidence in support of the legitimacy of our relationship namely. Joint lease agreement, joint bank account and statements, Car insurance policies in both of our names, utility bills, life insurance policies with each other as our respective beneficiaries, common ownership of vehicles. in addition personal documents like student ID, SS card, license among various other belonging to my wife were her name change to mine can be evidenced. finally I included a whole bunch of pictures documenting our relationship pro and post wedding as well as a score of phone call records and text messages produced by the phone company were our mutual communications can be attested.

So, do you think that our 'short' courtship will hamper our chances of getting this through successfully? What's your take on this?

I don't understand how you are defining a courtship.

You say you had a short one.

Having sex or living together doesn't have to be part of a courtship.

So didn't you really know (court) each other for something like 2 years?

Courtship as in dating we dated for half a year before taking the plunge. In the modern heterodox view that is a somewhat short time to go for a marital union, I respect those views I understand people in general date for a time then move together, engage and marry we didn't go through those phases for is not our preference due to our upbringing, like I said though I don't think we're better because we did it like that is just how we preferred.

In my opinion, length of courtship is irrelevant as long as the relationship is genuine and documented. How and when to marry is a personal preference in any denomination, be it christianity or any other. As my signature below shows, I didn't "date" my now-wife for a long period, it was a fast intro, engagement, and marriage; we were advised that we should be fine

They will judge your case on merit and base it on the supporting documents submitted with the application. Just make sure to be honest and upfront at the interview if asked.
