Hello,

I am new here and am expecting my case completed status from NVC anytime soon. Kindly let me know some info about the further procedures to be followed

1)I wanted to know the procedures to be followed after receiving the interview appointment date( will we receive the appointment letter from the embassy by e-mail or post?)

2) I will be attending my interview from Mumbai consulate what are the recent procedures ( now the center has shifted from bandra kurla complex to Kurla )

3) do we take the biometrics on the day of the interview or prior to it?

4)Any experience of the medical examination in Mumbai will be really helpful ( kindly also advice on how to schedule the medical examination so that it doesn't cause any last moment rush, if we can eat prior to attending the examination as immunizations are generally administered on empty stomach, when i will receive the final records to be submitted during the interview etc)

5) I do not have proper documentation of my immunizations so how should i go about it?

6)Let me know if you have any recent interview experiences for CR1 at the Mumbai consulate(time taken, procedure to be followed, any additional forms to be filled during the interview, questions I need to prepare, Documentation that needs to be kept handy etc)

Thank you. :)

I had my interview in Mumbai two days back.

1) youll receive ur interview letter by email. Print that out and carry it to ur interview.

2) just make sure u carry all the required documents. As soon as u recieve ur Packet 4, scedule a medical appointment. No procedures to be followed before that. They ll guide u with everything. Your PCC and Medical is MUST. Do not forget that.

3) you are supposed to take ur biometrics on the day proir to ur interview. You can get it done at the trade centre near the embassy. Its 1-2 kilometre away.

4) you need to check ustraveldocs.com for knowing ur hospital. Ull have to call the hospital to schedule an appoint. you can eat before ur medical exam. Youll recv the reports on the same day.

5) if uve not had any serious illness, long treatments, laser operations u dont need any medical records. In case u do then ull have to carry ur medical history.

When is your interview? I did not find you in dwheels spreadsheet. If your financial sponsor has already submitted the tax return for 2014 then you will need to carry a copy of that return. If 2014 return has not been submitted yet, you should take along copies of 2014 W2 of the petitioner.

Please fill-in your timeline. This helps everyone in this forum.
