That isnt truth, the beneficiary can travel alone.

I know many people who have traveled alone.

Petitioner must travel with, or ahead of you or already be in the United States.. You cannot immigrate while petitioner is back in pak. Think Logically you are doing this process to be with your spouse. Immigration is meant to bring you both together, not to break u apart. They will bombard u with question about the legitimacy of ur relationship...

f the sponsor establishes U.S. domicile, it is not necessary for the sponsor to go to the United States before the sponsored family members. However, the sponsored immigrant may not enter the United States before the sponsor returns to the United States to live. The sponsored immigrant must travel with the sponsor or after the sponsor has entered the United States.

Making asumptions here:

1) If you both reside abroad and you both live in Pakistan, then you CAN NOT enter the US alone or before the sponsor as the sponsor in this case your wife has to establish domicile in the US by returning from living abroad first.

2) If your wife does not live abroad and currently resides in the US (meaning she lives in the US and just went to Pakistan for your interview.... etc), but can not travel with you right now, then according to the link you were copied above http://kabul.usembassy.gov/im_affidativ_support2.html you CAN travel alone without her as she already has a domicile in the US.
