My AOS is still pending awaiting the issuance of my 2-year conditional green card (Waiver letter since June, 2014). I travelled to Ghana for vacation (35days) on Dec 25, 2014 using my AP and never had any issue.

I flew KLM and made a transit at Amsterdam Airport without anybody even asking for a look at my passport. All that was asked is my boarding pass.

On my return to the US at JFK on Jan 31, 2015, nothing was asked of me. My passport was rather stamped extending my AP for one year until Jan 30, 2016. My current EAD/AP combo card expires on May 14, 2015.

That notwithstanding, am still waiting for my GC which would be a year waiting on March 12, 2015.

I hope this info puts to rest those afraid to travel on AP.

Thanks for that, I don't know if they stamped my passport when I came back with my AP card or not. I know that if I don't hear about my GC in the next few months I will be filing for a new EAD/AP card. Hope you hear shortly, this wait is not good for any one and I find it rather incredulous, feeling sorry for people like you who have waited far too long already!! SMH!
