OUT FOR DELIVERY

Anyone know what this means? Just having it delivered to 2go Makati....

Did you make sure that 2GO office is still open? If it is then you visa is waiting there.

If you think the fat lady has sung, but .... That is up to you....

worst comes to worst...i can reschedule and pay the difference if there is any delay. There's a good flight available tues,, and i really dont want to lose it. I also would like to avoid keeping her in Manila another night if I don't have to. What a dilemma! I wish I knew the mathematical odds of something going wrong

I'm really scared now...My fiance called and said she couldn't get parental advice letter notarized because nothing was open on the weekend. She leaves early in the morning for manila to fetch her visa and then straight to CFO. Do you think this is going to be an issue? Would they actually turn her down and make her go back to Davao just to get it notarized? We are at a critical stage here, I cant afford to send her back and forth again, plus hotels and other expenses. Im on vacation now and need to go back to work soon... it could another several weeks before I can afford to fly her here. Is there any advice that could help her get past this? Im really worried....losing sleep. With all the emphasis on the interview and medical and getting approved...I never imagined the CFO would be a problem

The form I have shows to be notarized, does the form you are using show to be notarized?

No Hank...it's just a handwritten letter. Apparently the lady wasn't too specific o what was actually required. She didn't even say it had to be notarized. How could I have missed this? One of those gray area requirements that could really screw things up for us

The notaries aren't all that strict in the PI. I'll bet the first one she finds will notarize it for 200 pesos. No matter if the parents are there or not. As long as everyone signs ahead of time. We had a notary done across the street from St. Luke's and a few others.

Really? so you think she could get it notarized in manila? without her guardian with her?

Just my opinion is that if one notary won't sign over by St. Luke's, then try the next one. There are many and CFO is not all that far from St. Luke's. Depending on traffic of course.

If CFO said they want the letter, then she won't get the certificate or sticker without it. It's the law there for less than 25 year olds. Here's a link to where I got our letter.
