Dear friends,

I'm currently in the process of Adjustment of Status, after entering in the US with a K1 visa and getting married within 90 days.

On October 18th I left the US with my combo card (I-765 EAD/AP) because I had to take care of my mother who had been diagnosed with cancer. In the meantime we asked and obtained to reschedule our green card interview which had been scheduled few days after I had come back to my hometown.

After almost 4 months it's time to go back home, even because a new green card interview has been scheduled.

I know that AP is no guarantee to be readmitted into the US and having spent so many months away I am very nervous of not being accepted at the POE. In order to facilitate my readmission I was thinking to bring with me doctor's certificates and proofs of my mother's hospitalizations and of her ongoing chemotherapy. Do you think it's a good idea? Is there any other suggestions you have for me in order to make the process smoother?

Bring all documentation that you have. It is safer to be prepared than to leave it and and have regrets.
