(ASAP) K-1 Visa not showing in Schedule Interview section...

Hi,

I'm really confused as to what I'm supposed to do here... There's a few things:

1) There's no K-1 Option for this website(below), where it asks me the visa type i applied for in my DS-160... So what do I enter in there? The list given shows everything but K-1 Fiance visa.

2) What is this NVC payment? I don't know what I'm supposed to be paying for next/how to pay it... Where do I pay this fee? Do I pay it in person when I go to the interview?

From the e-mail I received this:

Fees

If you have previously paid all fees due to the National Visa Center, there will be no additional fees to pay on the day of the interview. If you have not paid fees at the National Visa Center, please be prepared to pay the following fees on the day of your interview.

DV cases: $330.00 US for each applicant.
K (fiancé/e) visas: $265.00 US, paid in cash only.

The K-1 visa is processed at the Immigrant Visa Unit.

Try changing from non-immigrant to immigrant and see if the K-1 option is there.

I'm in the same boat - and dealing with a Canadian finance - and for the life of me - i can not figure out this damn website - K-1 is not an option - I realize that we are applying for an immigrant visa and not a nonimmigrant visa - but I don't see where or how to change to that - any one else with this issue with their damn website - please please help and advise!

As I said in my previous post, you need to change from non-immigrant to immigrant. Allow me to clarify:

The OP posted a link which takes you to apply through the non-immigrant visa unit. The K-1 is not an option through that portal. If you click on Immigrant Visas under help, it will take you here: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/iv

You need to register on this page, as this is the portal for the Immigrant Visa Unit.

I exactly had the same experience and post. I emailed the embassy how both immigrant and non immigrant section do not show K1 visa. I suggested if I could create a new profile using different email address. The embassy asked me to call the call centre number. The agent confirmed that for some reasons, maybe a glitch in the upgrade, that it could not switch from non immigrant to immigrant option. So we ended up creating a new profile using a new email address. I informed the embassy though how my issue was fixed. I do not want to be in trouble having two profiles using two different email addresses. I was able to book for an appointment. Good luck!
