New letter of intent?

Hi my fiancé is preparing for his interview in Senegal and I sent him the dhl but I am worried now because in the original packet I sent in June I included an intent to marry within 30 days from each of us, but now it is 8 months later did I need to send a new intent to marry?

If so I'm in trouble because the dhl cost 150$ to send!

Yes new letters of intent are required.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

No, you do not need new. My fiance's interview was almost a year since application was sent. My fiance took new intention letters, but they did not want them at all. It is not out faults that TSC takes forever.

Follow your embassy instructions. Unless it specifically states you need an updated letter of intent, then you do not need one. You will likely need to show evidence that you have a bonafide relationship with intentions to marry.
