Hi guys! I called NVC last night and yay we got our interview date! The lady told me our schedule is on MARCH 6, 2015. I was happy when I found out but when I told my husband he wasn't so happy about it! We requested an expedite and don't know if that's actually granted or not, hubby wants to get an early interview because he's in the military and he got his next assignment. So he's pretty much leaving soon to where he is currently stationed at and he wanted to in process me ASAP so I could join him on his next base and of course to get a free plane ticket for both of us! QUESTION IS: Is it possible to get an earlier interview if we got an interview date scheduled already???THANKS!

You can reschedule to an earlier date but there's no guarantee that the consul will grant the interview. There's a chance that they will tell you to come back on the date that NVC originally gave.

Good luck.

What time did he call?[/quote

I called around almost 10am New Hampshire time.

Yes, you can request to expedite your interview, if you have a valid reason. Call the usem.

Thankyou! My husband is gonna try to call when he gets off from work! ????

usually, the IV Unit in Manila will grant an earlier interview date, after NVC assigns it,

if:

1. casefile is inside of Manila IV and

2. beneficiary emailed the IV Unit or called the IV Unit to request it, after 1 occurs.

So, if I were you, I'd wait 8 calendar days, for the casefile to transit to Manila and get inside the Manila IV and Manila IV to actually log the casefile,

then start requesting an earlier date, citing US Military deployment, PCS concerns.

Sure, you could email them now, but the common response will be, "We don't have the casefile, we can't reschedule you".

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
