I requested an expedite request to NVC and they forwarded it to Manila Embassy. After a week, I received an email that it was approved for expedite.

The U.S. Embassy or Consulate is willing to expedite this case when we have all the fees, forms, and documents. If you have not already done so, you can pay your fees and submit Form DS-260 at ceac.state.gov. Please send everything else to this address:

National Visa Center
31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 200
Portsmouth, NH 03801-2915

I have been calling NVC to get an update when are they going to send the documents to Manila as I would like to schedule her interview and get my mom's medical as soon as possible. I saw on the SLEC website that she has to show proof of interview schedule before she can go for medical. NVC told me that they dont have timeline when will the case be completed but my expedited request was approved. Doesnt make any sense to wait again? Anyone experiencing the same thing?

That's odd. Usually when a case is expedited, the fees are paid at the Embassy on the day of the interview and the IV and AOS packages are submitted there for review.

Anyhow, you don't need the interview letter for SLEC. Any email correspondence from NVC showing the MNL case number should suffice. That's what I showed them when I did my advance medical exam.

Good luck.

Thank you! So you did not show any interview schedule? Just the correspondence of what? Email or NOA's? Thank you!

No, I didn't have an interview date yet (during that time) because I was still waiting for case completion.

Just print out any email from NVC that shows the case number. I think I used the one they sent me that has my case number, Invoice ID Number and Beneficiary ID Number (ACL for Neopost DS-1200).

Hi, How did you expidite your application and what is the reason?

I told them it was hard to be away with family in 4 years and also told them I need guidance and help in taking care of my son who is 5 months old.
