I was just in the Philippines last year for five months. Your entry stamp is good for 30 days and you can get an initial extension at the Bureau of Immigration for 29 more days. After that you can get a 2 month or 6 month extension at the Bureau of Immigration . Each extension costs about 100.00 usd.

they would stamp your passport if untill when you were allowed to stay. then after that you need to report in immigration and file for an extension.last time my husband pay 3030 for a month ( bad part is they would start counting from the day that you arrived in the Philippines like my husband get there march 13 then they stamp his passport when he arrived to stay untill april 3, so we did report on immigration april 5 or 6 then we file for a month extension but that one month they start counting from march 13 so its like 2 more wks he need to file for other extension and that what we did , pay more that 8k i think because it was included the tourist id ,they said you need to have it so even you dont want to have an idea you dont have choice

Hi... If you have dual citizen status, You should have no limit on your stay but just a reminder that you need to have a current Philippine Passport that also might need at least 6 months left on if before it expires...

If you do use the Philippine passport for entry and have not had the CFO class, you might have to attend that before you are allowed to leave the Philippines.

You would also be subject to the exit tax at the airport that applys only to Philippine nationals... That's not so expensive probably much less than the extension cost... Last September I paid P3,300 for the 29 extra days...

Airport Embarkation Tax

Travel Tax: is levied on the following passengers departing the Philippines:

1. Nationals of the Philippines;

2. Permanent Alien Residents of the Philippines;

3. Non-resident aliens, who have resided in the Philippines for more that 1 year.

Fee: varies.

Place of payment: for tickets purchased in the Philippines, through the airline or travel agency. For tickets purchased outside the Philippines, at Manila (MNL), Cebu (CEB) or any Regional PTA Travel Tax Office.

Good luck to you, have a great time and safe travels!...
