The embassy emailed me that they had a chance to review our docs. Based on their review, they said we need a co sponsor since my husband's 2013 tax is only $19,186 ( he didnt work for 2 months since he came here in the Philippines)...i know its below the poverty guidelines. They said we need to bring AOS with joint sponsor. However, my husband's 2014 W2 tax is now on $26,700.

Can i just bring this to the interview or should my husband file for the 2014 tax? Is this ok or really need a co sponsor?

I called our lawyer and he and we should file for 2014 tax, my interview will be next week. Im not sure what to do.

it can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to file taxes yourself assuming you don't have anything overly complicated. Just file it. You can always amend it later.
