St. Lukes and Interview

We finally got our case number from the NVC. I had to call to get it. When i did call they told me that our case was sent to the embassy in Manila. We are now wanting to schedule our interview and medical. This brings up a couple of questions for me. One is where do i get original letter of case number? I have not received anything in the mail as of yet. The second is, does my fiance need to have an original copy of her divorce or will a photo copy with the NOA2 be good enough for St. Lukes? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Thanks,

You'll most likely get your MNL letter in your USA mail from NVC within the week. I scanned that to my fiancée and she used that to enter SLEC.

The NOA2 isn't needed in the PI for anything. SLEC doesn't ask (or need to see) divorce papers.

All you need in st. Lukes are the ff.

Passport

2pcs Photocopy of passport (front page only where you can see your photo and info details)

2/2 visa pictures

Appointment confirmation

St.lukes online registration

Letter from NVC where MNLcase#

- nvc letter usually would take time for you to recieve it, so you can just screenshot the confirmation from ceac.state.gov thats says "READY" because it reflects your MNLcase#

And take toilet paper tissue if you are a user. SLEC is not big on supplying the CR.

do the petitioner needs to send the original divorce decree or just photocopy of it during interview

This does not apply to me however, based on my friend who is divorced whos with me during the interview, she submitted a scanned copy of the divorce decree.

Thanks,

SLEC does not want to see your fiance's divorce decree, NOR the NOA2... in fact no one wants to see the NOA2 in the Philippines, the embassy will want a copy of the divorce decree as will CFO.

Just an fyi here; don't know if this is unusual: Neither my fiancé nor I ever received even an email confirming our MNL# from NVC, never mind a hard copy letter. The MNL# they issued, which I obtained via a phone call, worked just fine in DoS websites. I am very grateful for that.

As I predicted, the lack of an NVC letter was a minor issue, which my fiancé overcame, at St. Luke's. As she had her embassy interview confirmation email, the NVC letter was obviously superfluous at the point.

I hasten to add I made sure to confirm correct email addresses for both of us while on the phone with NVC.
