On the I-864, Part 2 (Info on the principal immigrant), mailing address, can I give my (petitioner) mailing address in the US? Because her mailing address in her country is not reliable.

You must write where she lives no matter what. NVC won't send anything to you or your beneficiary via postal.

Petitioner and beneficiary (and attorney if you have attorney) will receive an email (knowledge email like 60 days process, checklist email, complete case email and interview email). After interview is scheduled and before the interview is conducted, your beneficiary will be asked to go to DOS website to create your account to track your case and check case status, make choices of delivery method to pick up visa, medical address and fingerprint address (it will ask you if you want to pick up passport/envelope at US building/visa facilitation center or have deliver it to your beneficiary place via courier). After visa is approved/issued, either you or your beneficiary will go online to pay for immigrant fee as embassy will instruct you to pay for immigrant fee (to get a green card). US address will be verified there so green card will be mailed to your US address for your beneficiary. Note: your beneficiary will not get a green card if it is not paid. After visa is issued, it can be paid before your beneficiary departs for US (recommended) or after your beneficiary lands in US.

On the online DS-260 which I filled out, they asked for my wife's (benificiary's) physical address and her mailing address, separately. For her physical address I put her place of residence outside the US of course. For her mailing address, I put my US address. Now on the I-864, they asked for my wife's mailing address only. Based on the advice on this post, I put her foreign physical address. I understand that they won't send her anything.

But my worry is: does it matter that my wife's mailing address is now different on DS-260 and I-864? I've heard about NVC nitpicking.... Please help.

I did the same thing . I put my address in the states In the field where it says beneficiaries mailing address in both ds260 and AOS AND ATTACHED A cover letter stating there is no proper mailing system in the place where my wife is right now. I don no how nvc will look at this . Still waiting on the review .

This should not matter, the I-864 and DS-260 are still separate tracks even though all the information is submitted at the same time now.
