Got the biometrics appointment letter today! Yayy!!

Scheduled for a week from now 3/9 but I guess I'll attempt to walk in Wednesday.

And go February group :-P

11/20/12 - Arrive in US under J1 visa (no 2 year HRR)
04/20/13 - We start dating
01/07/15 - We get married <3


02/10/15 - Day 1 - i-485 & i-130 packet received at Chicago Lockbox
02/21/15 - Day 12 - Receive all four NOA1 hard copies
03/02/15 - Day 21 - Received biometrics appointment notice - scheduled for 3/9
03/03/15 - Day 22 - Successfully walked in to have biometrics done
03/10/15 - Day 29 - i-485 status changed to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview".

04/27/15 - Day 75 - i-485 updated to "Testing & Interview" - scheduled for June 1st // Submitted case inquiry for I-765, pending for 75 days

04/28/15 - Day 76 - I-765 & I-131 approved!

05/05/15 - Day 83 - Interview cancelled. What ?!

05/11/15 - Day 89 - Interview scheduled for June 15th..

That is the one we used as well. I called USCIS Help and they said it had not been updated and to use it. 1-800-375-5283 is the number, if you want to ask for yourself.

Ooh, mockingbird1029, how do you check your status online? Did you get emailed a link or something? I am waiting for my checks to be cashed. Literally the only time ever I have WANTED someone to take my money from me :P

Once you get your NOA letters you will have a case number (or in our case, 8 case numbers), and then you can go here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/disclaimer.do to set up an account and have notifications sent to you! I don't know, it may be a curse because I can't stop checking it!!! Lol

OK, thanks. Many of us here are associated with F-1 visas, for which files get sent eventually

to NBC in Missouri. I think tourist based visas are also.

So employment based get first sent to Dallas and then perhaps out to somewhere else, CSC in your case.

You're right, Leo! Mine is an AOS from a tourist visa, sent to NBC.

I managed to walk in and have my biometrics done just now. Super fast and nice staff!

I was going to wait until tomorrow but decided this was priority #1 right now.

I brought my appointment letter with my passport, they gave me a form to fill out and a number. Once you're up they just take your picture and lots of different finger prints. It takes less than 10 minutes.

I guess now it's just more waiting until my EAD is approved.

Hey I was first in line for February (actually my wife) and now several have already passed us

and gotten fingerprints done. :-((

We drive up tomorrow for biometrics. 5 hours or so round trip just driving, plus time at

the office, lunch, getting going, etc.

And it is predicted to rain ALL day and turn to snow around 4 PM.
