However, no-go as they wouldn't let any food past security. And they wouldn't hold for me either.

Plenty of time the guard says, so I take crackers back down to car.

Same happened to me when I went to get my fingerprints done, wouldn't let my snack bar through, had to take it back to the car. In the questionnaire they asked me to fill out I said a good additional service they could offer would be a vending machine.

Thank you for all the details, I am sure they will come in handy.

I also had a question did you ever get a notice that your case was ready for an interview? I just found out I got one October 21st, wonder if it will be "ready" for the next 8 months or so as it happened to you guys.

Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving!

We had our interview just 2 days before Thanksgiving at 7:30 am. Got there just past 7 am and there were plenty of people there already, not sure if the office was trying to cram as many people as possible before the holidays. We waited for like an hour and then were called in around 8:15 am.

The officer was nice and asked basic questions like how did we meet, when did we start living together, where did we go for honey moon etc. For evidence, she asked to look at the original birth certificates and marriage license, and returned those to us later. She also asked for evidence of joint accounts (insurance, lease, bank account or anything that's available), which she kept. We put our pictures in a photo book and the officer was nice enough to ask if we have copies of the pictures and if she can keep some of them. Overall, it was an easy and non-stressful process.

About half an hour after we left, we got notification that the case was in final review and then another notification followed saying that the card was ordered. Next day, another notification came saying the case was in post decision activity. Should be getting my green card in less than 30 days! :joy:

Arrived about 20 minutes early and was called within 5 minutes!!

Interviewer asked each of us the other's name, parent's names, childrens' names, birthday. Asked how we met. Took copies of pictures that we brought, kept some copies of the documentation we brought, and didn't even look at the certified copy of the marriage license, although he did ask if we had it.

The entire process took about 20 minutes, and we received text approval for my husband about 5 minutes after leaving. It was much easier than I thought!!!

Hi guys,

Congrats to all who have already received their greencard's, jeez we'd even be over the moon with an interview date right now. We still haven't received any touches/updates since receiving the EAD card. It's so stressful, has anyone had any luck with contacting USCIS at all?
