I am so happy to receive the interview appointment, though confused as to why our case status was never updated. We had the same issue with biometrics, received an appointment without a status update. While slightly annoying that they don't seem on top of updates, we are grateful. Waiting with no update is quite despairing. I really hope everyone else in our situation with the RFE gets their appt letters soon. I think we were first to submit our RFE, so hopefully it won't be much longer

10/9/2015 Interview

Big congrats, Chewy!

Just wanted to give an update
Had our interview on Wednesday and everything went well and was approved! :)

Good luck, Joanna!

Just had our interview in the San Francisco office. It went pretty well, the officer was very professional and all business. It lasted about 20mins, she checked and updated our info on the application, went through the questions on the form, and then asked us if we had anything to add to the case ( I had a few more items like bank statements and joint health insurance). Had a few more questions regarding how we met, why did we decide to get married, if we knew each others family etc.. She didn't give any indications of whether she was satisfied with the answers we gave her but oh well.

Then she made copies of everything, said all that was left to do was a background check. She said she wouldn't have time to get back to our case today but to check again in the next few days. She gave us "your case is being held for review" form and said that when we get the green card it would be good for two years then we would need to remove conditions etc.

She never said whether we were approved or not but my husband and myself left her office with the impression that if the background check goes through, we're good. Now time to come down from that stressful experience!!

Hey everyone, just letting you know that amazingly enough, our interview in San Francisco was cancelled and rescheduled in Salt Lake City for July 7th. Really glad this happened actually as it would have been a pain to fly back to SF.

So our interview was canceled and I'm really upset about it. Has anyone experienced the same situation? How long does it usually take for them to reschedule an interview?

I know it's February group, but I was just curios, if anyone knows smth about our situation,
