Just got text/email notification that my EAD was approved!!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:

FYI, I did get a RFE for initial evidence and my EAD was approved on Day 71, within the processing timeline.

Day 71 if count NOA1 date as 1st day

or

Day 76 if count the day when the package was delivered as 1st day.

Anyway, hopefully this is some good news for those who got RFE.

2/25/2015 I-130 and I-485 sent out using express mail to Chicago Lockbox (Day 0)

2/26/2015 Package delivered to Chicago (Day 1)

3/3/2015 Check cashed (Day 6)

3/3/2015 Text/email notification received; case routed to USCIS National Benefits Center (Day 6)

3/9/2015 Hardcopy NOA for I-130, I-485 and I-765 received, dated 3/2/2015 (Day 12)

3/13/2015 Biometrics appointment received. Dated on 3/25/2015 (Day 16)

3/17/2015 Early walk-in biometrics successful at Jacksonville ASC office (Day 20)

Just got text/email notification that my EAD was approved!!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:

FYI, I did get a RFE for initial evidence and my EAD was approved on Day 71, within the processing timeline.

Pre AOS

September 2011: Comes to the US for a year study abroad
August 2013: Returns to the US (went back to the UK to finish my undergraduate in 2012) and starts master's degree program
December 2014: Get married to my now husband after being together for 6 years :)
AOS
January 2015: Starts working on application
02/10/15: I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 received by lockbox
02/23/15: AOS returned because they couldn't find my I-485 check ... bloody ********
02/24/15: AOS mailed back out
02/27/15: AOS delivered to Chicago Lockbox
03/06/15: Case accepted and routed to USCIS NBC (National Benefits Center) for processing
03/09/15: Checks cashed by USCIS
03/14/15: Hard copies received in the mail for NOA1 for I-485, I-131 & I-765 (waiting on I-130)

Anyway, hopefully this is some good news for those who got RFE.

Congratulations!!! It's a great thing to hear :) I'm counting since the day posted on my NOA1 for I-765, so now I am on day 65 and hope to hear some news soon. Thank you for sharing!

DAY 77 - May 19, 2015: EAD and AP has been approved "We ordered your new card"

DAY 84 - May 26, 2015: We mailed your EAD to the address you gave us/USPS picked up the Card

DAY 85 - May 27, 2015: Interview Scheduled for June 29, 2015.

** May 29: Traveled with my AP back to my country and came back three weeks after with no problems Click here to ready the report **

DAY 117 - June 29, 2015: Had our interview. Approved on the spot.

DAY 124 - July 6, 2015: Welcome noticed received.

DAY 134 - July 16, 2015: Green Card delivered to my home by USPS - END OF AOS -

Let's hope the best today Wednesday to get approved since people that filed around our date are getting approved!

Awe787 got approved Tuesday evening and his/her package got received March 4th but did not filed for I-131 like us. So that might be the reason.

Yes, I'm following her track since we have almost the same time line. Additionally, she he had the biometrics few days before me in a walk in and at the same place.

Hopefully we can know stg this week...I'll let you know!!! Let's keep in touch! It is nice to.know I'm not alone! ?

I have a question for those of you who had your interview already.

It says in the letter to basically bring everything that I already submitted with the original package. Did you just bring your copy you made of original package with you or did you print out updated info (bank statements, bills, those things) Also, did you bring anything additional? I already submitted pictures with original package as well?

I'm just not sure if I need any "new" information

I'm just not sure if I need any "new" information

I took updated info with me plus the copy of everything k already had submitted and originals of all the important documents like birth, marriage, naturalization and all those certificates and for the pictures I just printed a few more of the newer ones we had taken after we summited the package

Just got text/email confirmation that my EAD is approved and new card is being produced! Thank God! Another answered prayer. So happy!!!! Hopefully, everything will go smoothly too on my interview on Monday. ?

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

DAY 77 - May 19, 2015: EAD and AP has been approved "We ordered your new card"

DAY 84 - May 26, 2015: We mailed your EAD to the address you gave us/USPS picked up the Card

DAY 85 - May 27, 2015: Interview Scheduled for June 29, 2015.

** May 29: Traveled with my AP back to my country and came back three weeks after with no problems Click here to ready the report **

DAY 117 - June 29, 2015: Had our interview. Approved on the spot.

DAY 124 - July 6, 2015: Welcome noticed received.

DAY 134 - July 16, 2015: Green Card delivered to my home by USPS - END OF AOS -

Most everyone seems to get EAD/AP within 70-90 days.

So you are within 3 weeks at most.

Have a beer . . . or a dozen. :-)

Look at my timeline. The first to file in February and many others already have Green Card and/or interview scheduled who filed long after us.

July 24, 2017  ROC packet signed for in Vermont.

August 8, 2017  NOA received at house.  15 days since ROC signed for in VSC.

August 12, 2017 ASC appointment received. 19 days since ROC in VSC.

August 25, 2017 BIO completed. 32 days since ROC received in VSC.

August 11, 2018  18 month 'Courtesy Copy' extension letter received.  Critical number  297

October 20, 2018 18 month 'Official' extension letter received.  Critical number 297

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

December 6, 2018 submitted N-400 application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 8 months or August 2019.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

Hi all,

Just called the USCIS about my case and my I-765. I found out that the only way a case will be delayed is if you get an RFE for that particular case. I got an RFE for packet I-130 and I-765 that I sent and this was received on February 26th. I sent back the information for both I-130 and I-765 packets which was then received on March 17th. March 17th would be day number 1 out of my 75 days.

So in a hypothetical world lets say you get an RFE for I-131, I-130, I-485 and not get one for I-765 and your package was received on March 1st then your I-765 time frame would start March 1st/2nd but the other packets timeline would delay. To clarify an I-765 timeline will only increase if you get an RFE for the I-765 packet.

Hope this helps with some confusion and I hope I have worded so that everyone can understand.

February 20th- Sent Packet I-765, I-131, I-130, I-485

February 26th- Packet Received

March 6th- First RFE (missed one signature. DUMMY)

March 14th- Sent packet back

March 17th- Packet received

March 27th- Biometrics confirmation

April 16th- Biometrics appointment

April 21st- Second RFE for packet I-130, needed one more petitioner

May 14th- Called USCIS, currently day 58 out of the 75. Currently being patient :)

nickmabz, thank you so much for sharing! It's a really helpful information. I've got an RFE for I-485, so hopefully I will get my EAD by next Friday, which is gonna be day 75 for me.

What was your RFE for I-765? Is that the one with the missing signature from your timeline?
