Cant believe this baby is finally in my hands ...I hope everything goes smooth and fast for the rest of you guys, I'll be going to the social security office tomorrow and then to the DMV to arrange everything to take my driving test

That's wonderful.

I can't wait to get mine. Its been delivered since Thursday but I have to wait until Tuesday when I get back home from vacations.

You guys are over day 75 regarding EAD/AP.

Did you call to expedite? Any news??

Please tell me you got approved already.

I'll only be able to call to expedite by May 18 (one week more) unless the miracle happens and I get approved. I really have to fly to my country June 1st :(

DAY 19 - March 21, 2015: NOA for Biometrics Appointment scheduled on 04/01/2015

DAY 77 - May 19, 2015: EAD and AP has been approved "We ordered your new card"

DAY 84 - May 26, 2015: We mailed your EAD to the address you gave us/USPS picked up the Card

DAY 85 - May 27, 2015: Interview Scheduled for June 29, 2015.

** May 29: Traveled with my AP back to my country and came back three weeks after with no problems Click here to ready the report **

DAY 117 - June 29, 2015: Had our interview. Approved on the spot.

DAY 124 - July 6, 2015: Welcome noticed received.

DAY 134 - July 16, 2015: Green Card delivered to my home by USPS - END OF AOS -

Hi guys,

I am seeing a lot of references about 75 days. Does this start from the first day you send the packet? Or does this start after the final RFE?

February 20th- Sent Packet I-765, I-131, I-130, I-485

February 26th- Packet Received

March 6th- First RFE (missed one signature. DUMMY)

March 14th- Sent packet back

March 17th- Packet received

March 27th- Biometrics confirmation

April 16th- Biometrics appointment

April 21st- Second RFE for packet I-130, needed one more petitioner

May 14th- Called USCIS, currently day 58 out of the 75. Currently being patient :)

As long as I remeber you don't need your BC. All you need is your passport and the document which proofs your lawful presence in the US and allows your to work here (Green Card, EAD, work visa).

May 11, 2020 A hard copy of NOA was received

December 22, 2020 Biometric reuse notice was issued

December 31, 2020 A hard copy of the biometric reuse notice was received

February 4, 2021 Received an update online that the interview is scheduled for March 16th

February 8, 2021 A hard copy of the interview letter was received

March 16, 2021 The interview was completed successfully

Thank you. It was just as you said, my passport and my green card but he still wanted to see the work permit which I took as well ...he told me I should get my card in 7-10 days :)

Hey everyone,

Firstly, congrats to everyone who has their work authorization and had successful interviews! So happy for you all :)

Secondly, some bad news for those who had RFE's that say 'Request for INITIAL evidence' (i.e. me). I called USCIS and they said if you get a request for initial evidence, the whole process starts over for you. So you have to wait an additional 90 days after they received all of your evidence. But if it is a request for ADDITIONAL evidence, it just suspends the process. I am really annoyed right now, as I will have to wait ages for work authorization, and will be graduating soon and need to get a job :/

Pre AOS

September 2011: Comes to the US for a year study abroad
August 2013: Returns to the US (went back to the UK to finish my undergraduate in 2012) and starts master's degree program
December 2014: Get married to my now husband after being together for 6 years :)

January 2015: Starts working on application
02/10/15: I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 received by lockbox
02/23/15: AOS returned because they couldn't find my I-485 check ... bloody ********
02/24/15: AOS mailed back out
02/27/15: AOS delivered to Chicago Lockbox
03/06/15: Case accepted and routed to USCIS NBC (National Benefits Center) for processing
03/09/15: Checks cashed by USCIS
03/14/15: Hard copies received in the mail for NOA1 for I-485, I-131 & I-765 (waiting on I-130)
03/21/15: Received notice for biometrics, scheduled April 3rd
3/23/15: Received RFE :(
04/03/15: Went and did my fingerprints
04/11/15: Supporting evidence for RFE for Initial Evidence received by USCIS
04/20/15: Case status online for I-485 updated to 'ready to schedule interview' :)
5/14/15: EAD approved
5/16/15: Received notice for interview, scheduled for July 7th! (moved from June 17th)
5/21/15: Received EAD
7/7/15: Had interview
9/2/15: Received my green card! :)
