04/28/15 - Day 76 - I-765 & I-131 approved!

05/05/15 - Day 83 - Interview cancelled. What ?!

05/11/15 - Day 89 - Interview scheduled for June 15th..

06/15/15 - Day 124 - Had our interview, now waiting for decision

Last week I saw a really great job opportunity and knowing, well hoping, that my EAD was only a few days away from production I decided to apply. Today I heard from the employer and set up an interview for tomorrow afternoon and was hoping and praying for an EAD approval today.

WE JUST GOT THE EMAIL IT WAS APPROVED AND IN PRODUCTION!! Woohoooo! Happy to be joining you fellow EAD's and to those still waiting hang in there! They seem to be moving down the list quite smoothly so that is a good sign.

I called yesterday to USCIS to see if I could speed up the process but of course it had only been 69 days and the lady told me I had to wait until day 75. Good things come to those who wait, or is it the wheel that squeaks gets the grease? Anyways .. happy to be approved, and happy to have an interview tomorrow that I can go into saying I am approved. I am going to go down to the SSN office tomorrow morning with the email and hope they are having a good day and the email is enough to start the process.

Just checked my I-485 status online and it says: As of April 20, 2015, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC1590733599, for an interview.

Woohoo!

Very happy because it means they accepted my husband's grandparents as our joint sponsors, thank goodness. Will keep you all posted on when we receive an interview date. Hoping my EAD will get done soon since I will be graduating soon, fingers crossed. Our February group has been getting processed so quickly!

Thanks Brit! Here is to a speedy EAD for you as well! If it helps my timeline said that my EAD would be approved today and it was! It used to say the 23rd, but the dates seem to change with the info they receive which is comforting. I noticed yours was not filled out, but it might have a date that can put you at ease, try it out!

02/06/2015.................forms i130, i485, i765, i131 mailed via FedEx
02/09/2015.................forms delivered
02/11/2015.................NOA1 for all forms
02/18/2015.................received I-797 mail with 13th feb as priority date
02/28/2015.................bio apt received for 03/05
03/05/2015.................got done with Biometrics
03/10/2015.................I-485 status updated to Ready for Interview Schedule
04/14/2015.................I-765 card being produced but no update to I-131

04/23/2015.................Got my EAD/AP combo in mail

06/19/2015.................Got the interview notice in mail. Interview scheduled for July 20th

07/20/2015.................Went for the interview. Didn't get approved right away but got the text and email later on in the day regarding updates to my case status, welcome notice being mailed and AOS approved

08/16/2015...............Email alert that Card was mailed to me it was Sunday evening.

08/18/2015...............I received my green card in mail exactly 4 weeks from the approval date

Congrats Vink, great news about the EAD! And I guess the interview is really a waiting game lol.

I got my EAD/AP Combo 4/24. I-485 ready to scheduled for interview since March 10th 2015.

Hmm, that is strange, although they are different departments so I guess they all move at their own (somewhat random) pace? I wouldn't worry about it! As long as you submitted the correct evidence you will be fine. Fingers crossed they hurry up a bit :) Perhaps mine was just easier to process for whatever strange reason?

It also depends on your local field office. I happened to be in Chicago so that makes it worst as far as processing time is concerned. Hi all,

I have noticed that a lot of you have been getting good news on your EAD's. Congratulations. I have a question though. I had an RFE last week and re-sent it yesterday. I am hoping that this is the last thing I will receive in terms of more evidence.

My question is..... Do they still process the EAD even when there is an RFE. Or does the whole process stop during an RFE? I am hoping I have worded this correctly. For example many of you have mentioned a 75 day period before an EAD is sent.... Does this start when all of the evidence is collected or from the first moment they receive the packet? I have only had RFE's from form I-130 and I-864 not I-765

Hoping someone can shed some light on this

March 27th- Biometrics confirmation

April 16th- Biometrics appointment

April 21st- Second RFE for packet I-130, needed one more petitioner

May 14th- Called USCIS, currently day 58 out of the 75. Currently being patient :)

I agree, when it comes to interview it all depends on the city and how busy your local uscis office is, I know somebody from New York City who filed before me and haven't gotten an interview date yet but the status says ready for interview, in my case they didn't even put the ready for interview one sat right changed from received to interview on 30th of April and I'm in the Philadelphia area

Unfortunately the RFE puts everything else on hold unless your EAD is already being produced/or so close they do not have time to stop it. Fortunately the 90 day count does not seem to start over for most. My EAD was approved on day 70 after an RFE. Good luck
