Anyone with NOA date of February 19th? Have you received your email about the work permit? My timeline says I should have been approved between the 20th and 23rd. Should I call? My interview is on Thursday so should I just wait to see how that goes? Will the fact that my work permit haven't been approved affect my interview?

Advance parole and works permit changed to "name update" and after 15 min the parole changed to approved but nothing for the work permit :/

My interview has been scheduled for June 1st, earlier than I thought it would be!

No signs of EAD yet, but today is day 75 so I can call to open an inquiry!

11/20/12 - Arrive in US under J1 visa (no 2 year HRR)
04/20/13 - We start dating
01/07/15 - We get married <3


02/10/15 - Day 1 - i-485 & i-130 packet received at Chicago Lockbox
02/21/15 - Day 12 - Receive all four NOA1 hard copies
03/02/15 - Day 21 - Received biometrics appointment notice - scheduled for 3/9
03/03/15 - Day 22 - Successfully walked in to have biometrics done
03/10/15 - Day 29 - i-485 status changed to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview".

04/27/15 - Day 75 - i-485 updated to "Testing & Interview" - scheduled for June 1st // Submitted case inquiry for I-765, pending for 75 days

04/28/15 - Day 76 - I-765 & I-131 approved!

05/05/15 - Day 83 - Interview cancelled. What ?!

05/11/15 - Day 89 - Interview scheduled for June 15th..

06/15/15 - Day 124 - Had our interview, now waiting for decision

06/22/15 - Day 131 - Approved! See you in two years VJ!

Just called the toll-free number, submitted an inquiry for my EAD. The lady was way nicer about it than I expected!

Anyway, I got a confirmation number and they said I would hear back within 15-30 days. Yikes. Reading around the forum though it sounds like it happens faster than that usually. Fingers crossed !

I got my EAD in the mail today.

My interview has been scheduled for June 1st, earlier than I thought it would be!

No signs of EAD yet, but today is day 75 so I can call to open an inquiry!

Congrats! I'm hoping to get a interview date soon. We almost share the same timeline.

I went today to the SSA to apply for SSN.

The process was quick and I should get the card within 1-4 weeks

They only asked for the EAD card, birth cert and marriage cert (because I changed my last name).

Congrats on everyone here getting their EAD's

I have my interview Thursday and I pray everything goes great.

I'll keep y'all posted.

I just received my EAD card. I will apply for the SSN on Monday.

My husband says he is not and that comforts me somehow.

Sorry for being inactive everyone; not much to report from my end!

Congrats to everyone who has had their EAD processed/completed and best of luck to those with interviews soon. I am sure you will be fine :)

Pre AOS

September 2011: Comes to the US for a year study abroad
August 2013: Returns to the US (went back to the UK to finish my undergraduate in 2012) and starts master's degree program
December 2014: Get married to my now husband after being together for 6 years :)

January 2015: Starts working on application
02/10/15: I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 received by lockbox
02/23/15: AOS returned because they couldn't find my I-485 check ... bloody ********
02/24/15: AOS mailed back out
02/27/15: AOS delivered to Chicago Lockbox
03/06/15: Case accepted and routed to USCIS NBC (National Benefits Center) for processing
03/09/15: Checks cashed by USCIS
03/14/15: Hard copies received in the mail for NOA1 for I-485, I-131 & I-765 (waiting on I-130)
03/21/15: Received notice for biometrics, scheduled April 3rd
3/23/15: Received RFE :(
04/03/15: Went and did my fingerprints
04/11/15: Supporting evidence for RFE for Initial Evidence received by USCIS

My status actually says it was updated on 4/26 - so a Sunday ?! I guess someone was putting extra hours in at work!

July 24, 2017  ROC packet signed for in Vermont.

August 8, 2017  NOA received at house.  15 days since ROC signed for in VSC.

August 12, 2017 ASC appointment received. 19 days since ROC in VSC.

August 25, 2017 BIO completed. 32 days since ROC received in VSC.

August 11, 2018  18 month 'Courtesy Copy' extension letter received.  Critical number  297

October 20, 2018 18 month 'Official' extension letter received.  Critical number 297

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

December 6, 2018 submitted N-400 application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 8 months or August 2019.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

May 9, 2019     Certificate of Naturalization and Citizenship returned in mail.
