What type of house are we staying , who is helping us financially since I've not started working , the color of our fridge, color of microwave and where is located , how many bedroom, where is our son sleeping , who is responsible for paying of the bills , how much we are paying for rentals insurance . ... my advice to everyone that has gotten interview date is ... don't tell them you have more documents to add cos it's like you gonna make them go to the whole process again ... the man said they need to add all the new documents we present on our case ... well I hope to hear something soon . Hi all,

I am hoping someone can shed some light on my situation. I received a letter that stated the following..... Currently my petitioner is my wife who fills out the I-130. My sponsors in regards to the I-864 are her parents. It appears that my wife must also complete an I-864 as she is the one that is petitioning for me to stay. My notice says that I must send all of the required information within 87 days so that my packet can be processed. Does anyone know if I just have to send my wife's tax details and completed I-864 or whether I have to send the whole packet again with her parents completed forms as well as hers?

HELP Please

February 20th- Sent Packet I-765, I-131, I-130, I-485

February 26th- Packet Received

March 6th- First RFE (missed one signature. DUMMY)

March 14th- Sent packet back

March 17th- Packet received

March 27th- Biometrics confirmation

April 16th- Biometrics appointment

April 21st- Second RFE for packet I-130, needed one more petitioner

May 14th- Called USCIS, currently day 58 out of the 75. Currently being patient :)

August 8, 2017  NOA received at house.  15 days since ROC signed for in VSC.

August 12, 2017 ASC appointment received. 19 days since ROC in VSC.

August 25, 2017 BIO completed. 32 days since ROC received in VSC.

August 11, 2018  18 month 'Courtesy Copy' extension letter received.  Critical number  297

October 20, 2018 18 month 'Official' extension letter received.  Critical number 297

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

I went to apply for my social security card and the lady said it might take 4 weeks to get it , that I'm not yet in the system cos I'm new ... is this normal .... though she said it might not take up to that time.

I went yesterday too and the guy who helped me out either was new or didn't want to do his job. I already have an SSN through DACA but I wanted to do a last name change to my married last name- Nevarez. He told me he couldn't process my applications because I did not have the green card yet. I told him it didn't make sense because had I not had a social, he would have still had to process my application regardless if I had a green card or not. I told him my SSN depends on my work permit, which was just approved and had handed to him. He then said "fine i'll process it it but immigration will deny it because you don't have your green card." I told him "Don't worry about what immigration does, just process my application and let them decide". He ended up giving me a receipt which says I should hear from SSN within 4 weeks. From past experience, this should take about a week :dancing: . When you guys go to the SSN office, please make sure you know exactly what you are entitled for and be prepared.
