02/06/2015.................forms i130, i485, i765, i131 mailed via FedEx
02/09/2015.................forms delivered
02/11/2015.................NOA1 for all forms
02/18/2015.................received I-797 mail with 13th feb as priority date
02/28/2015.................bio apt received for 03/05
03/05/2015.................got done with Biometrics
03/10/2015.................I-485 status updated to Ready for Interview Schedule
04/14/2015.................I-765 card being produced but no update to I-131

04/23/2015.................Got my EAD/AP combo in mail

06/19/2015.................Got the interview notice in mail. Interview scheduled for July 20th

07/20/2015.................Went for the interview. Didn't get approved right away but got the text and email later on in the day regarding updates to my case status, welcome notice being mailed and AOS approved

08/16/2015...............Email alert that Card was mailed to me it was Sunday evening.

08/18/2015...............I received my green card in mail exactly 4 weeks from the approval date

Hey , Sorry about the confusion I think I misread the notification. It only says they will mail it to my address and status still says that new card was ordered.

Vink0822, how long did it take them to mail your ead from the time it changed to ead card has been ordered?

11/20/12 - Arrive in US under J1 visa (no 2 year HRR)
04/20/13 - We start dating
01/07/15 - We get married <3


02/10/15 - Day 1 - i-485 & i-130 packet received at Chicago Lockbox
02/21/15 - Day 12 - Receive all four NOA1 hard copies
03/02/15 - Day 21 - Received biometrics appointment notice - scheduled for 3/9
03/03/15 - Day 22 - Successfully walked in to have biometrics done
03/10/15 - Day 29 - i-485 status changed to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview".

04/27/15 - Day 75 - i-485 updated to "Testing & Interview" - scheduled for June 1st // Submitted case inquiry for I-765, pending for 75 days

04/28/15 - Day 76 - I-765 & I-131 approved!

05/05/15 - Day 83 - Interview cancelled. What ?!

05/11/15 - Day 89 - Interview scheduled for June 15th..

06/15/15 - Day 124 - Had our interview, now waiting for decision

06/22/15 - Day 131 - Approved! See you in two years VJ!

Just received an update on my husband's case- an update to both the I-765 (New card is Being Produced) and I-131 (Your Case Was Approved)!!!

Ok so for the bank account issue we went back to wellsfargo with my passport and my Colombian citizenship card which is a form of photo ID in my country and they accepted it ...I know have a paper that they gave me where it says the changes in the account and that now we both are the owners ...but my husband says that what if they ask us at the interview why we decided to do it just 2 weeks before the interview and not since we got married in 2013, he is really anxious and says he doesn't want things to look suspicious, but like I said, we have a real relationship, we have a daughter together and plenty of proof that we are real

They received my reply to RFE on April 1. Still no update past "received".

Hey guys. It been a while since I commented on this topic (been lurking around tho). Today, the EAD/AP combo has been approved (status changed in both I-765 and I-131 forms). Hopefully I will get it as soon as next week.

One quick question: I responsed to the RFE USCIS sent to me but nothing in form I-485 status. Does it mean they accepted my RFE (joint sponsor) response?

Congrats on getting your EAD/AP approved! I am in the same boat regarding the I-485 status; I responded to the RFE (although they only received it last Saturday) and have not heard anything yet.

Pre AOS

Brought Illegally to USA in 1996

Gained DACA in October 2013

Applied for advanced parole February 2014

First child born US citizen March 2014

Approved for advanced parole June 2014

Travelled to Mexico July 2014

Returned to USA July 2014 with Stamped I-94

Married US Citizen September 2014

AOS (I-485 & I-130)Mailed to Chicago Lockbox 13February15

Stated delivered on 17February15 (USPS tracking #)

Email and Text G-1145 confirmations 24February15

Hardcopies of receipts arrived 02March15

USCIS website updated to RFE mailed 11March15

Wife today received EAD/AP card in US mail.

Card is valid from 04/08/15 to 04/07/16.

Card says EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION CARD.

On bottom of card is wording: "Serves as I-512 Advance Parole"

Still nothing on website indicating anything for AP, so they are not up to date in revising the status on website. At least for her case and maybe for all who are being processed through NBC for EAD/AP.

Good to get the card, but . . . for wife not nearly as exciting as for most others here because she already has EAD card for OPT program.

That card is good until July 1st, and by that time she will probably have Green Card anyway.

But still, receiving EAD/AP is just another indication that things are moving along.

Now the big variable time-wise is the processing of Green Cards through Pittsburgh office.

August 25, 2017 BIO completed. 32 days since ROC received in VSC.

August 11, 2018  18 month 'Courtesy Copy' extension letter received.  Critical number  297

October 20, 2018 18 month 'Official' extension letter received.  Critical number 297

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

December 6, 2018 submitted N-400 application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 8 months or August 2019.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

May 9, 2019     Certificate of Naturalization and Citizenship returned in mail.

The card may be "useless" for your wife since she most likely won't need it, but like you said progress is progress!

Also congrats Youbac on the interview, that was super quick!!

On my part I'm gonna give it until early next week, and if I don't hear anything I will try to ask for EAD to be expedited as I have a job offer on the table I don't want to miss out on.
