Congrats Kabayan, Wow that's super fast too, if your GC will be approved on the spot on May 18, 2015, it will just be less than 90 days processing time for you...... You may not be needing that EAD approval anymore.....

Thanks Kabayan. Keeping my fingers crossed and pray that everything will be fine on my interview date.

Just a bit worried though. We have all the evidences and proofs but just one thing, we don't have yet a joint bank account

because hubby can't open an account with big banks (Wells,BoA) because hubby's on the check system. But we'll try to

get hopefully on second chance banking if they'll permit us. I don't know if it'll be a big impact for not having a joint bank account

but hopefully not. :( I know for sure that it's not only the basis to prove the marriage. But not having that really freaks me out.

I'm having the same problem. My interview is on the 30th of this month but my husband's bank requires me to have 2 forms of ID to get me in the account and I only have my passport, hopefully my work permit comes before the interview

What banks are y'all dealing with? This is crazy, I know many people who opened bank accounts with Wells Fargo just with a passport, in fact I did that myself 6 years ago with my passport only. It could help to go to different branchs and try again. Last case have the USC say he will close the account and take the money somewhere they won't have a problem adding wife/husband to account, I bet they will change their mind quickly.

I have an attorney who's taking care of my case because of something that happened in the past and I want to make sure things go smooth (it's nothing but I'm taking precautions) and he said that he doesn't recommend it but that if we don't have anybody to watch her just to take her ...we don't have family or close friends here, my daughter is not used to other people and she cries so I'm not sure yet, my cousin is coming from New York the day before and we'll see if my baby has good chemistry with her, if not I'll just take her cause knowing that my baby is at home crying is not gonna let me concentrate at the interview

I'll make sure to update you....she is an active kid but only at home, when we are out she behaves well as long as there are cookies and lollipops arounds, we'll see what happens
