Wifey got email and website notification that EAD card is in production.

Pretty good timing at something just over 2 months.

I am still unclear as to the exact process, but I think that the EAD/AP cards are processed and produced by NBC in Missouri for most of us, and at other centers for the few of us in February who are adjusting from Work visa.

So, most of us will receive EAD/AP cards in rough approximation of time from submission.

There will be some variation because each application can probably be assigned to different persons at NBC, and those individuals can work at different speeds or have different backlogs due to sick days off, etc.

But, I believe the I-130 and I-485 parts are processed almost entirely at local branches.

This can lead to widely (and perhaps even wildly) different processing times because of extreme workload differences from local office to local office.

Thus, I would expect to see some of our February group processed for Green card within 3 months and others dragged out 4-6 months or more.

Unfortunately for wifey, we could be on the long end because I was told that Pittsburgh was the processing center for Bhutan refugees coming into USA.

This makes a lot of sense of why I already have an interview scheduled for April 30 when I sent my package on February 13th but still haven't heard anything about the EAD and AP ...Im so nervous, in 20 days at around this time I would be updating about how my interview went and hopefully with great news ?

Congrats Kabayan, Wow that's super fast too, if your GC will be approved on the spot on May 18, 2015, it will just be less than 90 days processing time for you...... You may not be needing that EAD approval anymore.....
