I don't understand your use of the word 'finally.'

Others have applied before you in February, not to mention those who applied in January who have not received EAD.

Officially, they can take up to 90 days; and you were well before that.

Read some of the threads where persons waiting a year or more to get Green Card.

I would have probably said the same thing- Finally! We don't know exactly how long she has been waiting to get her EAD. We don't know her story. Before DACA, i had been waiting for 25 years! I think it's the wait behind it all. I think a little more support is needed. Granted, some of them filed after us but lets share the same moment of joy we are bound to have eventually. My two cents only of course :goofy: ::positivity is key::

You have no idea about my process or anything about my personal life. So it very presumptuous of you to tell how to feel or what to write in this forum.

I could explain to you why I wrote "finally" but given the tone of your message I chose not to do it.

My intention was not not to offend anybody in the forum by using the word "finally". I am sorry if someone took it the wrong way.

HURRRRAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay .. I am excited. But this day has been a long time coming.. even though it is not an interview it is a pretty darn good feeling. Especially after an RFE.

And congrats hunnybunny! SO nice to see and hopeful they run through these February EAD's quickly!

This entire process is beyond frustrating .. lets all keep it together! High fives all around!!

02/09/2015 - AOS packet sent via Express mail ( I-485, I-131, I-765)
02/19/2015- Delivered to USCIS Chicago

02/19/2015- Check cashed

02/20/2015 - Received USCIS Acceptance Confirmation emails for all

02/27/2015- NOA1 Hard copies received by mail

03/02/2015- Letter with Bio Metrics appt received

03/06/2015- Successful walk in Bio Metrics (Scheduled date was 03/10/2015)

03/09/2015- Online status changed to show RFE for I-485

03/13/2015- RFE received in mail

03/23/2015- Sent RFE back to USCIS

03/26/2015- USCIS website updated to 'RFE received'

04/07/2015- Online status: 'Ready to schedule interview'

04/27/2015- Called USCIS in hopes to speed up EAD, was told to wait until day 75

04/28/2015- Emails received EAD card is in production! (Day 70)

Omg KMArmenta, if you can make it then GO right now!!! Otherwise call USCIS immediately. If you don't do something asap they will think you have abandoned your app :( I would recommend just making a run for it with or without your spouse to at least explain what happened

September 2011: Comes to the US for a year study abroad
August 2013: Returns to the US (went back to the UK to finish my undergraduate in 2012) and starts master's degree program
December 2014: Get married to my now husband after being together for 6 years :)

02/10/15: I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 received by lockbox
02/23/15: AOS returned because they couldn't find my I-485 check ... bloody ********
02/24/15: AOS mailed back out

03/06/15: Case accepted and routed to USCIS NBC (National Benefits Center) for processing
03/09/15: Checks cashed by USCIS

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.
