Most of you are probably aware that there is a place on USCIS website where you can get info on USCIS Processing Times.

This website shows (for each field office) the filing date for last case completed.

I just did a little checking and noticed this:

For Houston, it shows 7 July 2014 as filing date for last case completed. Doesn't sound too promising.

However, here is some more info.

First, the website has not been updated since 31 January 2015. Apparently the update guy/gal is on vacation.

But looking at Pittsburgh, the last update was also 31 January 2015, so apparently the guy/gal there is on vacation with the Houston guy/gal.

Updating the Houston schedule for end of March (2 months) might say something like: Last case completed was filed 7 September 2014.

Second, we know that our member Obanla has his interview scheduled for 22 April 2015.

And we know that in many cases, approval is granted on-the-spot or within a few days thereafter.

Now, let's update the Houston site again for end of April, and it might say that last case completed was filed 7 October 2014.

But, as we hope for Obanla, his case will be approved and completed by the end of April, compared to his filing date of early February 2015.

Conclusion: It seems unlikely that the last case completed for Houston office was really one that was filed on 7 July, 7 September or 7 October of 2014.

July 22, 2017  ROC packet sent to Vermont.

July 24, 2017  ROC packet signed for in Vermont.

August 8, 2017  NOA received at house.  15 days since ROC signed for in VSC.

August 12, 2017 ASC appointment received. 19 days since ROC in VSC.

August 25, 2017 BIO completed. 32 days since ROC received in VSC.

August 11, 2018  18 month 'Courtesy Copy' extension letter received.  Critical number  297

October 20, 2018 18 month 'Official' extension letter received.  Critical number 297

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

CITIZENSHIP PROCESS

December 6, 2018 submitted N-400 application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 8 months or August 2019.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

May 9, 2019     Certificate of Naturalization and Citizenship returned in mail.

DAY 77 - May 19, 2015: EAD and AP has been approved "We ordered your new card"

DAY 84 - May 26, 2015: We mailed your EAD to the address you gave us/USPS picked up the Card

DAY 85 - May 27, 2015: Interview Scheduled for June 29, 2015.

** May 29: Traveled with my AP back to my country and came back three weeks after with no problems Click here to ready the report **

DAY 117 - June 29, 2015: Had our interview. Approved on the spot.

DAY 124 - July 6, 2015: Welcome noticed received.

DAY 134 - July 16, 2015: Green Card delivered to my home by USPS - END OF AOS -

How long you've been waiting so far since Biometrics?

And how long since package was delivered to Chicago Lockbox?

We originally filed on February 23, 2015. We got the NOA on March 4, 2015. Got the NOA for Biometrics on March 13, 2015. Went to ASC for Biometrics on March 17, 2015. Now we are waiting for EAD, 11 days and counting. :-)

Hi February Group. :)

Sent my application February 23,2015, then received hard copies for NOA1 for I-130, I-485 and I-.765 last March 9

and on March 14, received Biometrics Letter scheduled and succesfully done last March 23.

I got my biometrics letter and I am schedule for April 3rd, woo hoo!

September 2011: Comes to the US for a year study abroad
August 2013: Returns to the US (went back to the UK to finish my undergraduate in 2012) and starts master's degree program
December 2014: Get married to my now husband after being together for 6 years :)

02/10/15: I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 received by lockbox
02/23/15: AOS returned because they couldn't find my I-485 check ... bloody ********
02/24/15: AOS mailed back out
02/27/15: AOS delivered to Chicago Lockbox
03/06/15: Case accepted and routed to USCIS NBC (National Benefits Center) for processing
03/09/15: Checks cashed by USCIS
03/14/15: Hard copies received in the mail for NOA1 for I-485, I-131 & I-765 (waiting on I-130)
03/21/15: Received notice for biometrics, scheduled April 3rd
3/23/15: Received RFE :(
04/03/15: Went and did my fingerprints

Actually let me rephrase- I didn't get a text. I had downloaded the USCIS appt and IT notified me. I went to the website but I didn't see a date or time. Perhaps I have to wait on the letter for that or I will get email/text later on today? Not sure but I am soooo glad my case is moving along!!!

You should receive EAD/AP in 15 days according to the timelines :)

You just waited about 30 days and now your case is ready for interview?

You should receive EAD/AP in 15 days according to the timelines :)

I did my biometrics 5 days ago.

PD. What app you have downloaded? USCIS has no official apps, right?

No nothing happened- no updates or notifications since my Walk-in on 2/25 (Letter rec'vd 2/24).

I hope you are right on my EAD/AP because I bought my flight tickets for Mexico scheduled 4/17 and my EAD expires 5/17 sooo def. crossing fingers!

I downloaded "USCIS Case Status Notifier">> Not an official app but its the same app I used when I applied for DACA and it was the first line of service that notified me so i really do trust it. I also used it for my mom a few months ago. OH the waiting....lol

02/10/15 - Day 1 - i-485 & i-130 packet received at Chicago Lockbox
02/21/15 - Day 12 - Receive all four NOA1 hard copies
03/02/15 - Day 21 - Received biometrics appointment notice - scheduled for 3/9
03/03/15 - Day 22 - Successfully walked in to have biometrics done
03/10/15 - Day 29 - i-485 status changed to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview".

04/27/15 - Day 75 - i-485 updated to "Testing & Interview" - scheduled for June 1st // Submitted case inquiry for I-765, pending for 75 days

04/28/15 - Day 76 - I-765 & I-131 approved!

05/05/15 - Day 83 - Interview cancelled. What ?!

05/11/15 - Day 89 - Interview scheduled for June 15th..

06/15/15 - Day 124 - Had our interview, now waiting for decision
