Just curious also . . . are you eligible for AOS because of marriage to US citizen or some other situation?

Was wondering because you noted interview for you and son, without mentioning spouse.

Maybe yours is moving faster because something other than marriage to US citizen.

Well the only update I have since my successful biometrics walk in is the update I got today that states my interview date is 22nd of next month

And my wife usc petitioned for us

So happy I got my biometrics appointment today!!! according to everybody else timeline my case is going with no delays.

It's dated 03/13/15 and original appointment date is 04/01/2015 in the morning at ASC Oakland Park, FL.

I'm going to try a walk in this monday!!!

Any tips besides bringing this NOA and Photo ID???

What if they ask me why am I trying to walk in besides waiting for the original appointment date?

Last week I made a question asking if biometrics it's intended for Work Permit and now I certainly know that yes. It says case type I485 and I765.

I Went On Wednesday To the Same Oakland Park Office to do my biometrics but my appointment was scheduled for Thursday. They didn't care that o walked in early there was like 2 people there. Also bring the biometrics appointment letter, an id and if you used your married name when filing for AOS and your id is not in that name then your marriage certificate also. it only takes like 10 minutes.

We also went early to the Oakland Park ASC. The young woman just asked for the interview document and stamped Biometrics Procedure with the date. There was no line and she said they are usually not busy. It took us only 10 minutes to get in and out. Bring your NOA and Passport, that was all that was needed. So you're getting the biometrics for EAD and Green Card. I think it will be ok at Oakland Park, especially since it is not so busy as other facilities. Now the social security office on Commercial Blvd is a nightmare. That will be a long wait, so be prepared for that. Good luck to you.
