This morning the status for our i-485 case was updated to : Ready to be scheduled for an interview. Reading that made me a little nervous Haha!
Nothing on the EAD case number changed.

NO . . . my wife did not! And she is a very good person.

Chicago received our packet 3 Feb compared to 10 Feb for Joanna.

We received NOA hard copy on 13 Feb compared to 21 Feb for Joanna.

But then Joanna 'jumped the line' and got her bio 3 March compared to our 4 March standard date.

If this continues . . . I am going to call for a Congressional Investigation, or maybe call Obama. :-)

To be honest reading around the forum it sounds like for lots of people it just stays like that for ages before getting an actual appointment letter.

Since I already filed my 2014 return should I put total income for 2014, 2013, and 2012 in this section (attached 2014 return with supporting income documents, 2013 transcript, 2012 transcript)

and then in

Part 6 Question number 5

Shall I put what I'm going to make in 2015 and attach a letter from employer and pay stubs from 2015?

Hi everyone,

I'm now pretty sure I will be getting RFE...My husband (USC) barely makes any money and we found a joint sponsor. I thought he doesn't need to fill out I864 cuz he doesn't work, but it turns out that he still needs to since he's the petitioner...

Another thing I'm worried about is that I've seen a couple of peeps getting RFE for I864 because they didn't have the most recent tax return or pay stubs. My joint sponsor provided tax return for 2014 and W2, but no recent pay stubs for 2015. Will that cause any problem? I think Leo made a good point that USCIS is looking for continuous stable income. The annual total income of my joint sponsor has been increasing for the past 3 years, making over $60k in 2014. I'm not sure if this would help...

I just got a job offer and I don't want lose it for the stalling of the EAD application....*sigh*

That is exactly what I did.

The terminology 'please find enclosed' is from the 1940s. It's like asking the recipient to go on a treasure hunt.

Enclosed are the following forms and packets.

'On behalf of' indicates you are the explicitly or implicitly delegated representative of someone.

But you are not filing I-130 on behalf of your husband. You are filing I-130

for yourself petitioning to help an alien relative.

You are indicating one overarching cover letter, whereas the I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131 packets

can/will be assigned to 4 different persons.

You haven't indicating you are submitting the I-131 when it is completely free, quite simple, and

this forum is filled with threads from those who did not submit and later were in anguish when

realizing they needed the AP for various reasons.

Both you and your husband are submitting something in the package, so both should sign the cover letter.

Chewy, also there is some evidence right here in the Feb group (Nick) that packets going to the P.O. box

are processed slower than those sent to 131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor.
