Hi Nickmabz, and welcome to the (awesome) February 2015 group!

Our timeline is similar; my packet was received Friday, 27th February and I am constantly checking to see whether my checks have been cashed. Just take my money, USCIS!!

Where in the UK are you from? When I lived in the UK, I was in York (for uni), but lived in Asia previously.

Born and raised in Milton Keynes, came to the states on an F-1 visa in 2009 on a basketball scholarship also.

February 20th- Sent Packet I-765, I-131, I-130, I-485

February 26th- Packet Received

March 6th- First RFE (missed one signature. DUMMY)

March 14th- Sent packet back

March 17th- Packet received

March 27th- Biometrics confirmation

April 16th- Biometrics appointment

April 21st- Second RFE for packet I-130, needed one more petitioner

May 14th- Called USCIS, currently day 58 out of the 75. Currently being patient :)

Hello Everyone ..

Just wanted to pass on that we have received our letter with our bio metrics appt on Monday 3/2/2015 and our appointment is on the 10th at 1:00. I was hoping to try for a walk in this week but caught a rather brutal cold and the weather outside is not helping. Hopefully will be feeling up to it tomorrow, the office is only about 15 minutes away.

So I am currently applying for AOS. And last Tuesday I just got an RFE for form I485 which I believe it is about form I864.


Turns out they don't accept my assets and my wife's income (she just started working last May and she doesn't file tax in 2013 and 2012).


I found a joint sponsor, he makes above poverty line this year (35k for whole year 2014) but in 2013 and 2012 he didn't. He's been working for this company for a while.


He only has tax transcript for this year (2014) and pay stubs for one month (Dec 2014).He's currently not in his home (business trip somewhere) so he can't send me any recent pay stubs.


Is it ok to just show USCIS the tax transcript and one month paysubs? does not making enough income in past years affect his ability as a joint sponsor?

Complicated situatiion Nathan. As I understand it, they are looking for good continuity of income so you don't become burden on US taxpayers. How can he have tax transcript for 2014 already? Do you mean a copy of his tax return, which is not same as transcript ?

Anyway at this point, they will probably be wanting to see pay stubs for several weeks in 2015 or a letterhead from his company stating his salary, etc.

Hi everyone, I just received both text and email alerts stating that my application has been received and routed to the USCIS NBC for processing. WOOHOO!

I am EXTREMELY relieved because as you may or may not know, I got sent back my application about 2 weeks ago because they stated I sent the wrong filing fee. When in fact, they just didn't open the clearly labelled envelope with the I-485 filing fee in it .... -___-

Waiting game ensues :)

Woohoo .. Hopefully an EAD in the mail next and we will really be rockin!

My appt was for the 10th but I was feeling much better and it was 36 degrees so I thought I should take advantage .. The lady was very nice I told her my appt wasn't until Tuesday and she said that was no problem. I was the only one in there so it was quick!

Well Leo. Yeah, it's March already of course he already filed his tax. He is not able to give me his company letter verification or sth. I think I will just go ahead and submit what he gives me. I'm just being impatient LoL

we filed (i-130 i-1485 i-765) for my husband sent the package on Feb 18 2015 over night received Chicago lock box Feb 19 2015 got the email/text notification march 02 2015 got the hard copies in mail march 07 2015 the case went to National Benefits center.

I think about 6-9 days after packet received in Chicago, people get the email

notification of case being assigned to NBC in Missouri. MSC coding on your number.

So almost everyone should (hopefully) be this situation by now.

Maybe not 1brit as she had to resubmit.

Hey Leo, no I got my email and text notifications and MSC coding on Friday!!! I was so happy, very unexpected that it would go through so fast.

OK, good news.

Now we have to pull for Nick.

July 22, 2017  ROC packet sent to Vermont.

July 24, 2017  ROC packet signed for in Vermont.

August 8, 2017  NOA received at house.  15 days since ROC signed for in VSC.

August 12, 2017 ASC appointment received. 19 days since ROC in VSC.

August 25, 2017 BIO completed. 32 days since ROC received in VSC.

August 11, 2018  18 month 'Courtesy Copy' extension letter received.  Critical number  297

October 20, 2018 18 month 'Official' extension letter received.  Critical number 297

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

CITIZENSHIP PROCESS

December 6, 2018 submitted N-400 application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 8 months or August 2019.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

May 9, 2019     Certificate of Naturalization and Citizenship returned in mail.
