February 2015 Filings for AOS

Mailed the AOS packet to Chicago today.

Today, 6 days after being received in Chicago, the checks we sent for AOS were cleared from our bank account.

And, we got the 4 emails saying that our I-130, I-131, I-485 and I-765 were sent for processing at the Missouri Service Center also called NBC National Benefits Office.

Just sent my application last Saturday. But the usps still hasnt delivered it to Chicago lockbox???? They promised me it should be in by Tuesday (2/10)

Same with me, sent my packet early afternoon Friday 2/6, with the USPS two-day priority mail enveloppe - was meant to be delivered by Tuesday 2/10 but the status has been "in transit" since yesterday afternoon.

I guess we just have to be patient!

Tam and JoJoanna, welcome to February group.

Even after Chicago gets your packet, it will be a week or so before they send you the email notice.

That's assuming you filled out the G-1145 to get email notices.

Then, it will be a week or so after the email notice received before you get the hard copy in US Postal Mail. At least that is what I am seeing from experience of others.

After you get your acceptance numbers (from email or hard copy), go to http://www.uscis.gov/

and click on 'Check Your Case Status.'

Set up an account with password, etc., and then enter your acceptance numbers.

This allows you to view progress on your various forms. However, it seems these progress reports are not always kept up to date.

Another useful site is: http://www.trackitt.com/

There you can set up yet another account with password, etc., and enter your data.

This allows you to see the progress of all others who have signed up there, just for a comparison of how you are doing relative to others.

I saw there were also a couple apps out there that notify you of any case update, might be a good idea to get one of those.

The USPS tracking just updated to delivered 2/10, so I guess we've officially started the process

Today, 13 February, got the hard copies in US Mail showing NOA1 for I-130, I-485, I-131 and I-765.

This is 4 days after emails received for the same 4 documents.

Congratulation Leo! I also got emails and text notifications that my case has been accepted. Looking forward for hard copies. I guess I can drop out of school now. (jk no way lol)

Yes it said USCIS Nation Benefits Center or MSC (first 3 letters for me).
