hey!

the us embassy said that after i submit the DS 160 application, they gonna schedule my interview

my question is, what should i do after i submit the DS 160, should i send the us embassy an email telling them that i finished submitting the DS 160?

It is an electronic application, they will be notified automatically when you submit it.

21 Aug 2013: I-129F Sent

11 Feb 2014: Visa APPROVED!

20 May 2014: Wedding!

12 Feb 2015: AOS Interview - Approved

Yes, send an email back to the same person who sent you the email. I just got the same email yesterday, I'm also doing a K1 visa at Tunisia. I also recommend you call and ask to talk to the person who is in charge of K1 visas, and let him know that you submitted it. That is what I did, and the person I spoke with (who had also sent me the email) told me to reply so that he knew the DS160 had been completed. I also recommend attaching the confirmation page to your email.

He told me it is going to be until March for the interview, but I haven't gotten a date yet.

24-Sept-14: NOA1 (E-mail & Text)

Sent to California Service Center

3-Nov-14: Requested expedite by mailed letter with UN Human Rights Reports (Humanitarian Situation)

14-Nov-14: NOA2 (I-129F Petition Approved ~ E-mail & Text)

1-Dec-14: NVC Received Case

2-Dec-14: NVC Case Number Assigned

9-Dec-14: Embassy Received

3-Feb-15: "Package 3" Received/Turned In

25-Feb-15: "Package 4" - Received Interview Date

19-Mar-15: Interview ~ Approved

27-Mar-15: Visa Issued

I submitted cr1 for my husband.I did not upload any photos..if you sent everything to nvc they will forward all to Tunis.my husband is Tunisian. His interview is in 12 days ..loooooong days!
