I-130 question #13

This is the last question I have before mailing off my packet (I hope!)

For question 13 on the I130 - i thought i had a certificate of naturalization, but now i see its actually a certificate of citizenship. I was 15 when we all became citizens so i don't remember all the details. I'm guessing my parents became naturalized citizens and my sister and i derived citizenship from them at that time. (i've emailed my mom, but she may be unsure of the specifics for the purpose of this form)

if this was the case do i select 'parents' and enter certificate number?

I had initially checked 'naturalization' and now realized this is probably an error.

If you check parents you don't necessarily need any certificate number.

Besides they know all this information about you already so if you can't remember, they can find it.

Well, I do have an actual certificate of citizenship... I skyped my mom and she doesn't remember whether we naturalized with her or just derived citizenship from her.

She also has a citizenship certificate, not naturalization certificate...

I remember an oath so maybe its safe to check "naturalization" as long as my certificate number is on there.
