She may have undiagnosed mental health issues. Crazy might not be too far off the mark when it comes to describing the situation.

We have someone in the family who has been very similar (and been through 5 marriages with the same behaviour - and has suffered greatly due to her mental health issues) in their behaviour (that said, they also think that Wifi is causing earthquakes, and people on the bus are trying to off them.

It might be out of her control, it could be anything from here being fine and simply jealous to something such as borderline personality disorder, paranoid personality disorder or something far greater. Don't be so quick to judge, but by the same token - if she is unable or unwilling do to anything about it or get help to see the situation rationally or reasonably, you may have no choice but to seek greener pastures.

If you suspect this is the case, NAMI (The National Association for Mental Illness) can provide support for individuals affected and their families.

Fortunately, The United States isn't under religious dictate, but rather, has a secular legal system, unlike, for example, Saudi Arabia, so he is not compelled to stay married to this psycho.

Your best advice is that he should be a prisoner in his own house because his wife is deranged? Oh, well done.

Can you please share with us How marriage works in arabi Saudi please .

I wasn't talking about marriage in Saudi Arabia, I was talking about the legal system there being based on religious dictate, i.e., Sharia law, as opposed to secular law.

Sit her down and have a talk, this time don't suggest or ask tell her you are unhappy and the best thing to work out both your feelings is to get counselling.

This marriage is a partnership so you both need to be willing to want the marriage to work. Like others have said it sounds like the problem is self confidence on her part

Maybe she has had past experiences with partners cheating on her (physically or emotionally) and the best way to deal is counselling. If she is unwilling then I am afraid you will have to make a choice either give up the marriage or the tv and gym and any type of daily activity that involves being around females (which is just nonsense)

Good luck wish you all the best!!

There is always two sides of a story. We heard your side, need to know the other side, for any good advice. You mentioned you have green card for 10 years. You do not want to be naturalized. If you think you really love her and do not want to lose her do what she wants. Sooner or later she will come to her senses. But you need to be very patient.

My friend, the only advice I have for you is to ease up with the muscle building,go back to eating Cheetos, beef and unhealthy food so you can be fat and out of shape only then you will have your wife back. Your Abs and beautiful muscle is destroying your marriage and is clearly not working out for you.

The OP's Question belongs on Doctor Phil not Visa Journey.. Look at the type of answers he is getting including my own from last night...I have been here since 2008 [back then it was a different screen name and different account] I have NEVER seen a question like this asked here...It is way out of context for this website.. If this Poster is really asking what to do with his wife.. He definitly came to the wrong website.. And everybody here is Entertaining him Confusing Him even more with all these mixed Replys....He needs to work this out Himself and not Listen to all of you or me...... After all this is a serious problem... if this is not a joke to begin with....

This is ridiculous advice, would you tell a woman to just do what the man wants if the situation was reversed? How do you know she will come to her senses? Sounds to me like she is acting pretty irrationally and won't change that behavior without help. Edited by Hotter Otter

Could you find a men only gym?

The problem with this is she is also freaking out about his job and things he does at home. I've seen this before and I would bet money she has borderline personality (BPD).

My message to the OP is to go read this: https://shrink4men.wordpress.com/2009/01/30/10-signs-your-girlfriend-or-wife-is-an-emotional-bully/

She's crazy. Of course you look at other women in the gym. Every guy on the planet does, women shouldn't be surprised at this any more than a person on a diet looks fondly at a cake when they pass by a bakery. It doesn't mean they're going to eat it.

Good luck!
